Last week, A+E Global Media joined forces with The Paley Center for Media in NYC to host an exclusive reception, screening, and panel event for The HISTORY Channel documentary The Clash of Nations: Joe Louis vs. Max Schmeling for Paley members, media, and invited guests. The sold-out event was anchored by a strong conversation featuring Joe Louis’ son – Joe Louis Barrow Jr., his granddaughter – Julia Barrow, boxing historians David Margolick and Nass Metcalfe, the Director Nikki Spetseris, and was moderated by none other than Sunny Hostin, Co-host of The View. The event also included an introductory video from UNINTERRUPTED’s co-founder, Maverick Carter. by @ae_globalmedia

Ahead of Veterans Day, A+E Global Media and our VET Employee Resource Group held a dedication ceremony honoring Nick Davatzes (1942–2021), founder and former CEO of A+E and a proud U.S. Marine Corps veteran. A commemorative plaque was unveiled at our Stamford Office celebrating his enduring motto: Time Well Spent.

We thank Nick's family as well as @stjohnsu St. Johns University who participated in bringing this tribute to life.
