i just have to brag on my man for a bit…almost a year ago i did a backyard photoshoot with my 2006 nikon d80 and told my husband “i think i could really be a photographer.”

the same week gavin used some savings to buy a canon r6ii and a 24-70 lens (english translation: a lot of money for a very nice camera).

in less than a year, i’ve been able to pay that back, work a dream job, and have so many cool opportunities i would’ve never gotten otherwise. i got to take a photography trip to one of my favorite cities and trade photos for my beloved tattoo. i’ve reconnected with old friends that i never in a million years would’ve thought id see on the regular. and i’ve got a front row seat to some of the happiest moments of peoples lives.

and truly, it’s all because he believed in me. 🤍

thank you all for making this possible. i can’t imagine how much fun we’ll have in another year. by @aedanhalldesign
