hello, yes i am posting a magazine edit, insane i know, i haven’t done that in over a year! now if you’ll allow me, i’m just gonna give a bit of context. if you follow me on tiktok you probably know that i get my lenses from @pinkyparadisedotcom (code aegifogur10 for 10% off, ah ah ah), but in exchange for that i have to do my yearly influencer duty which usually consists of recording a tiktok. unfortunately though, i hate tiktok, so i thought why not create something inspired by the lenses ads you would see in magazines back in the day. the specific reference for this edit is an ad from the february 2006 egg magazine, i tweaked it a little bit to fit a specific format i wanted and added 2 easter eggs that i’m gonna divulge or else nobody’s gonna get it: instead of a chihuahua i put my friend’s dead guinea pig (@marcus.the.guinea.pig rest in peace dude), and i was missing just one sentence so i put the first one of a monologue of a character from a french movie called “asterix & obelix: mission cleopatra”, and it’s like a meme or whatever. anyway, i think that’s pretty much all, i spent so much time (2 hours and 6 minutes according to procreate, but my brain would disagree) on it at some point i thought i was going to defenestrate my ipad, but i didn’t. that is all, hope you like it 👍🏽
