Dear travel volleyball,

Thank you for the best 7 years of my life, yes there was ups and downs but I will forever love this sport. All though I have thought about cutting this journey short a couple times I have always told myself I am playing for one person up there and that’s grandad. I wish I had more time to play one more set with this team. I wish I never gave up when we were down by so much, i wish I could’ve played better one more time. All though I will miss stepping my feet into those big conventions centers I will not miss the early mornings and the late nights. I will miss not having to drive to North Cross every Sunday and Tuesday.

Luckily I have spent the last two years playing with my best friends. I would like to say thank you, you all have changed me as a person and helped me grow! I will forever love you all for pushing me to who I am today! Thank you for attempting to put a smile on my face even though sometimes it didn’t work. Thinking back on this team we never need team bonding bc we all were so close and I will forever be thankful for that! Thank you volleyball for bringing my best friends into my life.

To my coaches, Coach Blair thank you for everything! Thank you for pushing me to the player I am now. I will forever be grateful for you! Coach Mitch all though I only got to have you as my assistant for a year u changed me as an athlete and I can’t thank you enough. You always knew how to make me smile when I came off the court when I was doing bad and I will forever be grateful for that! Now Randy your one person the team could never take serious. You always made the team laugh and always told it straight up. Thank you for the best 2 years!

Last of all thank you to my parents! You all have sacrificed so much for me and I can’t be more thankful for that. Thank you for always being my biggest supporters. And thank you for making it possible to travel all over with this team.
