The dragon tree is our favourite house plant. Elegant and timeless. We headed over to @oliveateliers for a beautiful pot made out of clay for a weathered look.

1970s Bauhaus Tubular Chrome & Glass side Table.

When we heard that an older couple was selling a set of three tubular tables for only 50$ ( one cracked unfortunately) we immediately offered to come and pick them up that same day. The lady was so sweet and she explained to us how they were refurbishing their home and wanted a more cozy aesthetic. We talked about how living in a warehouse and having a brutalist aesthetic must sound crazy to them ,
they simply smiled and told us „discomfort is a privilege reserved for the young and adventurous “

Driving back with three side tables in the trunk I reflected on that statement and I must admit I don’t think I will be able to live like this forever.
Making it all more special and important that I live out my wildest interior dreams right now.

When I paint.

I would say painting has been part of my life ever since Highschool. I started with portraits as I wanted to get good at getting proportions and emotions on paper before thinking about style and aesthetics.

While living in Italy there were so many beautiful landscapes and old buildings to capture so my style evolved to a mix between realism and impressionism, however when I started fashion school I transitioned to mainly procreate for my illustrations and designs. This allowed me to really get details and fabric patterns right, and I fell in love with digital rendering.

Last Saturday Steve and I were talking about doing more organic creative activities, and while he has been looking a lot into sound and music setups, I found myself longing for some creative input myself. So here I am back to good ol paper, paint and paintbrushes. Let’s see how long this phase will last. taken in Downtown Los Angeles by @aeneas__atelier

Shades up or down?
I prefer shades down. I love looking out of the window but I really enjoy my privacy and when I come home and turn down for the night I feel like I’m in a cloud somewhere floating while listening to good vinyls all while drinking a glass of red (my favourite) doing my skincare routine.
I only put up the blindes for guests who visit for the first time or on a rainy day, there’s something about rain, the smell of rain and the sound that I love so much.
