This book goes through the idea of the fragility, recalling, transformation, and recording memory. Through 48 pages it invites the reader into a journey of dream like lull, familiarity, strangeness and perspectives using images and writing.

This is also my 1000th post here on Instagram. Thank you all to those who stay in touch and have been supporting my artistic journey as well as personal life.

Many images were shot in Japan, including the portable scans of public surfaces including posters and other textures.

aeonfade - Redemption (2026)

I am here to announce the new compilation: Redemption, an archive of interstellar cybernetic melodies. This goes hand in hand with my most recent art book of the same name which chronicles my path to redemption in the past 5 to 10 years reclaiming my own emotional sovereignty in a familiar foreign land and reclaiming my life through the right choices.

Whether it is on a personal scale of finding a solution or remedy, or for the state of the world finding its eventual equilibrium, there are forces beyond our reach which take things into the futher ends of entropy and destruction.

When order is harder to maintain than chaos, the natural course of action is to hold on to a piece of calmness that you can grasp, a place or thing that is as real as you would hope your peace of mind would be.

That is the meaning behind the name of this compilation.

The cover art for this album is a collage of photos I've taken along with images from a portable scanner taking surfaces across Kyoto.

Here I introduce the track, "xo terminal"

It is a mixture of field recordings made in a museum, on the street, and elsewhere, sampling, and stretching sounds into unrecognizable artifacts.

The sweet dew of the night is the place of serenity when everyone else is asleep and you are free to wander in your dreams, whether in sleep or in wakefulness.

Art book: "Re:Re" restocked!

Along with other posts I've shared with its extra attachments (photos and stickers), I'd like to share some insights about how this book came to be.

Once inspired by a friend who was writing about memory (this was 9 years ago), it always stuck to me how the process of photographing is in a way cataloging where I've been, what I've seen, and experienced. I later started to pursue again the hobby of photographing life here in Japan and visits to other countries.

Earlier last year I acquired a portable scanner which is great for scanning documents or handwritten material, like I did in the last book "Redemption", chronicling letters I've received and my portraits of the writers. I quickly started to use it to document textures and images and writing that I came across in the public space, holding on to even more transient (in memory) but semi permanent fixtures throughout town.

Combining the two allowed me to create my own visual scrapbook, and reviving and recalling the different moments into a story.

My purpose with this book is to give a first person view into my memories, but also allow enough ambiguity to see it how you would like..

Thankful for the space to feature my newest track "lovenotes" which I have a music video for as well.

The cover image for this recording is multiple collages in one, most notably a photo from Halloween in Osaka a few years ago. The song is interspersed with field recordings of JDM Tokio Drift style motor sounds.

The one hour will go through neo-grime, phonk, field recordings, and an aerial softness.

This will be an evolving sound project along with the next subject, 「Re:Re: Recursive Recall」a topic on the formation of memories and audiovisual recall.

"Re-/cursive/Re-/call"

How does the layers of our memories work as we digest understanding things as they happen and them from our backlog, with each re-entry marking a re-newal?

These are collages of recent photos of Kyoto and Osaka, interlaced with layers of portable scans..there's a caustic style to the blown out colors and integrating the fine textures of surfaces (alongside any eye catching visual symbolism, text, etc.)

I'd like to work thoroughly through thousands of more images in the catalogue to form a new book, hopefully within the year.

And excitingly, hoping to include text written, either digitally or by hand to stitch through pages of images.
