This morning, we showed up for something bigger than ourselves. 🩷🎀

Today was about love, strength, remembrance, survival, and COMMUNITY!

I ran in honor of my Aunt Loretta and cousin Shannon, two beautiful souls we lost to breast cancer. 🕊️🩷 Their memory will forever live in my heart.

I showed up for my good veteran sister Brooke, a breast cancer SURVIVOR! 💪🏽🩷 A living reminder of strength, courage, and resilience.

And seeing Diego’s soldiers show up in support made this morning even more special. That’s what community looks like. That’s what showing up for one another looks like!

Today wasn’t about a finish line or a time. It was about the people we’ve lost, the survivors we celebrate, those still fighting, and the families standing beside them.

For the fighters. For the survivors. For the ones we carry in our hearts. THIS WAS FOR YOU! 🩷🎀

I don’t remember what I was reading, but clearly I was taking it SERIOUSLY! 😂

Same woman. Two completely different chapters. 🩷

2024: She was overwhelmed, exhausted, lost, and silently fighting battles nobody knew about. She poured into everyone but herself.

2026: WHEW! 🤭 She got intentional. She got HELP. She chose therapy, accountability, boundaries, discipline, and most importantly, HERSELF.

This transformation took YEARS. Uncomfortable conversations, changed habits, lost relationships, and learning to show up for myself.

I’m still doing the work, but I’m proud of the woman I’m becoming.

The woman in 2024 didn’t fail me. She survived long enough for the woman in 2026 to find herself. 🩷

Still building HER. One brick at a time. ✌🏽

Happy Sunday! 🩷

There comes a point in life when you realize that growth isn’t always about doing more. Sometimes it’s about slowing down, appreciating what you have, protecting your peace, and being intentional about the energy you bring into every room.

Life is going to keep life-ing, but how you choose to show up matters. Choose kindness. Choose gratitude. Choose growth. And most importantly, choose to become someone YOU are proud of.

Walk into this new week with a grateful heart, a clear mind, and the confidence that beautiful things are still unfolding in your life.

A little reminder: You can be grateful for where you are and still be excited about where you’re going. 🩷✨

Same race. Same route. One year later. A WHOLE DIFFERENT ME! 🏃🏽‍♀️🩷 Faster pace, better time, stronger endurance, and a whole lot more confidence!

And to think, all I did was START. Then I kept showing up, even on the days I didn’t feel like it.

Ladies, you don’t have to be the fastest, the strongest, or the most athletic. You just have to be willing to BET ON YOURSELF!

A year from now, you can be looking back at your own progress, too.

The goal was never perfection. It was to become a woman who kept betting on herself. 🩷

Today I ran 2.75 miles. 🥹🏃🏽‍♀️

For 20 years, 2 miles was my limit.
When I started my walking journey, 5 miles felt like my ceiling.
When I started running, I would stop 10–15 times just trying to finish.

I ran 2 miles STRAIGHT and only stopped twice during the entire 2.75, but today is deeper than running.

One year ago today, I finally spoke my truth about the sexual abuse I endured as a child. I lost women I thought would protect me—my grandmother, mother, godmother and sisters. I didn’t run because I’m over it, I ran because I survived it. 🩷

Every step was for the little girl who deserved protection and the woman who finally learned to protect HERSELF.

I’m becoming the woman I’ve always dreamed of being. Not overnight. Not all at once. I’m building HER one brick at a time. 🧱❤️‍🩹

First half marathon training run: DONE. ✌🏽
