❤️ Un ringraziamento particolare all’associazione CuciCuci, affiliata a Cuor di Maglia, e all’associazione Aerocene.

Grazie a tutti e… alla prossima! 🎉 taken in Morsasco by @aerocene

We share here some reflective moments of working together and gathering around @elsantuariodelagua with the Indigenous Communities of the Red Atacama Network in Salta, northern Argentina.

Over three days on site, we shared knowledge, ideas, imaginations, and took decisions as we continue to shape a project rooted in protecting a deep connection with this territory and all the life that lives upon it.
How inspiring it was to see the dream we once imagined together take such monumental shape. We are reminded once again of something we have known from the beginning: when we come together, and work collectively, we can open new paths to protect water, defend our territories, and build more just futures.
We would like to truly thank everyone who is generously and tirelessly working together to make this dream a reality, and everyone who joined us for these three days.

Our deepest thanks to the entire Red Atacama, to the construction team, to the Studio, and especially to those who have volunteered their time and expertise and joined us for this three-day journey: @gchillier, @luis.piri.macagno, @marianof_ok , @fedeborghini  and @ediardoernesto.

We would also like to extend our special thanks to the officials from the Ministry of Tourism and Sports of the Province of Salta for their commitment and for joining us for this unique gathering in the heart of the salt flat. @aleromero827 @finalcut82 @javyarias_salta @gutierrezlucasdav @ceciliaruiz.okk @manuelaarancibia @nadialozaok

Our eternal gratitude to @hausderkunst, @andrea.lissoni, and @sarahjohanna.t, whose initial contribution allowed us to take the first steps towards making this dream a reality. And thank you to all the collectors, institutions and contributors who have joined along the way, without each of them, we would not be here today.

Thank you to everyone who shared the photographs with us, especially @alvarosimonpadros, who joined us on this adventure and captured these moments along the way.

"Little water of life, in the midst of the salt flat, your presence on our land must always be cherished"

AEROCENE
📡 LANCEMENT / LAUNCH
DEMAIN 10—12:00 (GMT+2)
PLACE DANIEL CHENU, NEVERS, FR, PLANET EARTH

A sculpture made by many hands, one panel at a time.

The Amsterdam edition of ‘Museo Aero Solar’ grew over months of collecting, cutting, taping, assembling and drawing. Discarded plastic bags were brought together through collection points, workshops and public activities, then transformed into 1 × 1 metre panels, each carrying traces of the people who made them – their drawings, ideas, gestures and ways of working with the material.

At Amsterdamse Bos, that process continued. Visitors could make their own panels, draw directly onto the sculpture, step inside it and spend time with the work. What started as individual pieces gradually became a shared structure: something larger than any one contribution, but still visibly made up of them.

The artwork is not only the inflatable form. It is also everything that led to it – the collecting, making, experimenting, talking, learning and figuring things out together. 🎈

There is something special about seeing an artwork take shape through so many hands. 🫶

During Synergy Amsterdamse Bos on 4 September, we were joined by Wisse, Carmen and Nico to bring the artwork to life, welcome people into it, and keep an eye on the balloon as the weather shifted around us. It was a day of making things together, talking to visitors, sharing ideas and finding new ways of being with the materials and the environment around us.

And sometimes making together means embracing the unpredictable. As the weather shifted, a sudden gust broke the balloon loose from its ropes and ground pins, sending it off into the wind. A little chaos, a lot of laughter, and a reminder that making space for collective action also means making space for whatever happens next. 🎈

‘Museo Aero Solar’ starts with discarded plastic bags and asks what can emerge when these materials are brought together through collective making. Rather than offering a simple solution to plastic waste, the project creates a space for imagining different relationships between people, materials and their surroundings. In that sense, the sculpture is as much about the community that forms around it as the object itself.

On 4 September, ‘Museo Aero Solar’ came together in Amsterdamse Bos for its first public presentation – and it was a joy to finally see this Amsterdam iteration take shape.

After months of collecting, cutting, sticking, drawing and building together, the work had become something to gather around, explore and, quite literally, step inside. Visitors could enter the balloon, experiencing the work from within and encountering the materials, drawings and traces of everyone who had contributed in an entirely new way.

Severe weather meant that the final sculpture had to be smaller and sturdier than originally planned. But the day still brought something special: people meeting the work in the park, spending time with it, being inspired by it and making the space around it their own.

A different form, perhaps, but very much the same spirit – a temporary structure made through collective effort, curiosity and imagination. 🎈

🌬✨ Dance and atmosphere meet in Berlin! ✨🌬

Renae Shadler @renae_shadler_ & Collaborators @loudsoftsoftloud, together with Aerocene @aerocene, present Schrumpf! Greyline at @radialsystem_berlin for its 20th anniversary: a “shrunk” reimagining of Greyline, staged for one day only.

📍 Radialsystem, Berlin
🗓 Saturday, September 12, 2026 · 11:00
🎟 Free admission, no registration · ~75 min · for all ages (6+)

Five dancers move with two ethereal Aerocene sculptures, 400 cubic metres each, inflated with nothing but air, carried by wind and lifted by the sun. As the bodies wander between pathways, green spaces and the terrace, the boundaries between air, body and city begin to dissolve. In this age of climate inequality, Greyline invites us to blur the line between human and more-than-human, and to question the borders that wind, sun and air never recognise.

First conceived in 2024 at Gleisdreieck Park, Greyline now returns in miniature to mark two decades of Radialsystem, an invitation to breathe with the atmospheres that surround us all. 🌍

See you there. 🌟

Concept & choreography: Renae Shadler · Co-creation & performance: Katrina Bastian, Luan de Lima, Jan Lorys, Dorota Michalak · Dramaturgy: Maikon K · Voice dramaturgy & voice coach: Joris Camelin · Costume design: Camille Lacadée · Production & distribution: Dörte Wolter
