YUGEN is a study of what exists beneath the surface — an exploration of darkness, silence, and the fragments of identity concealed within the human form.

The collection approaches fashion as an evolving state of existence. Silhouettes are distorted, proportions are interrupted, and layers conceal and reveal the body in deliberate tension. Darkness becomes a structural element, while texture, movement & shadow transform the garment into something closer to an object of art than a conventional piece of clothing.

YUGEN is the beauty of becoming unrecognizable where darkness shapes identity, silence becomes expression & fashion exists beyond the boundaries of the visible. by @aesir.studios

YŪGEN FALL WINTER 2026 CAMPAIGN

An ode to the unseen.

Rooted in the Japanese notion of profound, elusive beauty, YŪGEN inhabits the space between revelation and concealment—where form becomes atmosphere, silence becomes tension, and presence feels almost spectral.

The campaign explores a beauty that refuses immediate comprehension. Silhouettes emerge through shadow. Textures carry traces of something unfamiliar. The body becomes a vessel for ambiguity, suspended between the tangible and the ethereal.

Nothing is fully disclosed. Nothing seeks resolution.

For AESIR STUDIOS, clothing exists beyond ornament. It becomes an apparition of the self—intimate yet distant, severe yet delicate, recognisable yet strangely unknown. by @aesir.studios
