🇮🇹 Carnifex si fermò, appoggiando la sega al tronco come se si stesse liberando di un fardello.

Per un attimo, la mano sollevò la maschera: sotto la stoffa, il volto mostrava uno sfiorio di fragilità. Il sangue sulle dita non brillava come sulla lama – era più vivo, testimone di qualcosa che andava oltre la caccia.

Sguardo basso. Respiro trattenuto. Un lampo di umanità, poi la maschera tornò al suo posto.

🇦🇺 Carnifex paused, resting the saw against the tree as if laying down a burden.

For a moment, his hand lifted the mask: beneath the cloth, his face revealed a flicker of frailty. The blood on his fingers did not gleam like it did on the blade—it felt more alive, a testament to something beyond the hunt.

His gaze dropped. Breath held. A fleeting glimpse of humanity, before the mask returned to its rightful place.

Chi mi conosce sa che il primo cosplay che ho portato ad una fiera fu Finn l'umano di Adventure Time, ma da allora ho cambiato stile molte volte prima di trovare il cosplay che sento veramente mio più di chiunque altro. Vi chiedo: i vostri ultimi cosplay hanno mantenuto qualcosa di quello che eravate all'inizio della vostra carriera di cosplayer o avete cambiato completamente tipo e stile di personaggi?

Vi ho già raccontato di come i dottori della peste fossero famosi per inserire delle essenze profumate nelle proprie maschere per proteggersi dal morbo, per cui abbiamo cercato di ricreare quell'effetto. E voi avete mai realizzato foto in cosplay con "effetti speciali"? Se sì, quali?

Ricordo a tutti che domenica ci sarà il Cosplay Brunch al Leaf Bar.

Oltre alle foto belle di Angelica, avrete sicuramente qualche foto con me che invado il vostro spazio vitale (con un motivo, ma vabbé), facendo sbottare la fotografa.

Perché avere le foto Cosplay e basta, quando potete avere le foto rovinate dal Sindaco?

Ah, prenotate che è meglio perché l'ultima volta i tavoli sono stati fucilati via e vi tocca barboneggiare sotto al portico. 😶

È soltanto la forma che la vostra mente ha inventato per non impazzire.
Per un istante ho intravisto ciò che si cela oltre il velo.
Non esistono parole capaci di descriverlo.
Solo silenzio.
Solo follia.
E la certezza che, se il Re è soltanto una maschera...

...allora nessuno dovrebbe mai conoscere ciò che nasconde.

Mitsuri e il Re in Giallo alla @festadellunicorno a Vinci!! 💕

Prima esperienza per entrambi a questa fiera e abbiamo rivalutato le nostre scelte di cosplay perché erano decisamente troppo pesanti per il caldo che c'era 😅🙈🤣 la prossima volta solo cose molto leggere e possibilmente senza parrucca 🤣🙈... però nel complesso è stata una bella fiera e abbiamo fatto nuovi incontri 💕🍻

🇮🇹 All'inizio era soltanto un libro.
Mi ripetevo che fosse solo questo.
Ogni pagina, però, rendeva le parole più pesanti. Più vicine.
Sentivo una presenza alle mie spalle. Non osavo voltarmi.
Era impossibile. Doveva esserlo.
Continuai a leggere per convincermi che fosse un'illusione.
Fu allora che percepii il suo respiro.
Le mani iniziarono a tremare. Il cuore accelerò. Provai a chiudere il libro, ma ormai era troppo tardi.
Lui era lì.
Le sue mani sulle mie spalle. La sua voce... una lingua che non conoscevo, eppure comprendevo.
Cercai di ricordare il mio nome.
Rimase soltanto il suo.
Il Re era reale.

🇬🇧 At first, it was only a book.
That was what I kept telling myself.
Yet with every page, the words grew heavier. Closer.
I could feel a presence behind me. I didn't dare turn around.
It was impossible. It had to be.
I kept reading, desperate to convince myself it was only my imagination.
Then I felt his breath.
My hands began to shake. My heart raced. I tried to close the book, but it was already too late.
He was there.
His hands resting upon my shoulders. His voice... speaking a language I had never known, yet somehow understood.
I tried to remember my own name.
Only his remained.
The King was real.
