$✨ THE OFFICIAL BLURB REVEAL ✨ I never imagined I would be sharing this quite so soon… Recent events have meant I’ve had to bring my publishing plans forward, and although it wasn’t the path I originally intended to take, it has given me the chance to do something I’ve dreamed of for a long time — share my story with you. And honestly? I’m feeling everything right now. Excited. Nervous. Emotional. Proud. Because after years of imagining, writing, rewriting and wondering "what if?”, The Second Thread: A Life Refracted is finally ready to begin its journey into the world. Today, I’m sharing the official blurb… ✨ Christopher Cole gets the one thing he always wanted: A second chance at life. He just never imagined the price would be losing the family he loved. A story of love, loss, impossible choices, and the threads that connect us all. To everyone who has supported me, encouraged me, read my words, shared my posts, or simply followed along as this story came to life — thank you. Truly. You have been here at the beginning of this journey, and I honestly cannot thank you enough for being part of it. Welcome to The Second Thread. ✨ And if this sounds like the kind of story you’d love to get lost in, I’d be so grateful if you shared it and helped me introduce this story to new readers who might love it too. 🤍 #bookstagram ##readersofinstagram #indieauthor #blurbreveal #thesecondthread by @aeward_official$

$I spent years writing this story. Years of late nights, second guessing myself, rewriting chapters, questioning whether anyone would ever connect with the world I had created. When you write a book, the characters live inside your head for so long that it’s almost impossible to imagine them existing anywhere else. Then someone reads it. And suddenly, those characters become real to someone else. The story becomes theirs too. These are just a few of the comments that have made me smile, made the sleepless nights worth it, and most importantly… made me realise that the thread I spent so long creating had reached someone else. To every person who has read, reviewed, shared, preordered, or simply supported this journey, thank you. Every single thread matters. ❤️ The Second Thread: A Life Refracted Coming 8 September 2026 Pre-order now. #TheSecondThread #IndieAuthor #Bookstagram #BookRecommendations #NewRelease by @aeward_official$

There is something very surreal about reading a review like this and realising someone is talking about a story that used to exist entirely inside your head.

I am endlessly grateful to everyone who takes time out of their day to review The Second Thread on Amazon or Goodreads. I read every single one. Multiple times. A perfectly normal number of times, obviously. 🫣

We’re now at 17 reviews on Amazon, and I’d love to reach 20! If you’ve read the book and have a moment, please consider leaving an honest review—even a few words can help another reader decide whether it’s their kind of story.

And if you’ve already shared your thoughts on Goodreads, copying them over to Amazon would mean so much.

Thank you for giving my little story a place in your lives.
