My heart is full. Today my baby turns 19. We got to celebrate with her and her roommates this weekend in Eugene. She is happy and thriving and I just can’t ask for more on her birthday! Happy Birthday, @maddie_sweeney_ ! 🩷 taken in Eugene, Oregon by @aewsweeney

I had a BLAST chaperoning Morgan and her Eastside GU16 ECNL-RL team in Carlsbad last weekend. We got to visit the beach, a cute shopping center, made inspirational notebooks for a Seattle organization that supports local foster kids, and oh yah, cheered my heart out for four soccer games. 0-0, 3-2, 2-1 qualified us for finals where we won 2-0 against the host club. What a way to start this new team! I was so happy to have this experience! Cheers to more! taken in Carlsbad, California by @aewsweeney

Maddie joined me yesterday for low tide and lunch out by Alki Beach. This is one of my favorite summer activities. A heron even joined us! Delicious lunch enjoyed at @cactusrestaurants. Lovely day. taken in Constellation Park by @aewsweeney
