Wrote and directed this fun spot ‘Tesseract’ for the Abu Dhabi Knight Riders, featuring @sunilnarine24 , @ar12russell , and @brandonmcmullen18

Like many projects, this one came with its share of challenges—but bridging the gap between on-ground limitations and the envisioned film was made possible by an incredible team. Big shoutout to DP @aeyaz and CG/VFX head @deepakepili for pushing things all the way through.

Massive thanks to Hijaz, @mr.jre_ , and Simran for ensuring a smooth and seamless production. Thanks to @prodash86 for running the set smoothly.

The cricketers were an absolute pleasure to work with—special mention to Brandon for going all in on that insane diving catch.

Shoutout to @imtulsiyani for bringing such great energy on set, and to @elvina_poyyayil for making everyone look their best.

Always grateful to collaborate with familiar brilliance—@edwin.thachil on the edit, and @hrishigiridhar and @bhaskarville for bringing serious thunder to the film’s score. Beautifully graded by @marcospanu_colorist at @picture.post.studio.ltd

One of my personal favourite film I shot so far. Lots of love and hard work put into this.

The film, featuring 4 domestic helpers, addresses an inequality sensitively. It delves into a societal subtext and tension point delicately, that’s around expat domestic workers who are employed in many homes around the world, often working for years for the same families, living away from their own families and their own living spaces remain very small; typically 7 feet x 10 feet, sometimes even smaller. These rooms are often furnished with second-hand or third-hand furniture, mismatched, worn out or dingy.

‘The Hidden Room’ is a film that encourages people to make their spaces ones that make them feel at home, in our homes, through better decor and uplifting environmental designs.
