FIELD NOTES // CAMP 2026

I’ve been trying to understand why this CAMP felt so different from my first two.

The first year, I spent a lot of time trying to figure out whether these were “my people.”

The second year was about being with close friends.

This year, something changed.

I found myself walking into workshops alone. Sitting by the pool without a plan. Joining conversations with people I’d never met with little friction to enter.

No invisible test to pass, nor feeling that I had to earn my way into the moment.

I’ve realize that’s incredibly rare.

These days it can be difficult to feel psychological safety with one person. Feeling it throughout an entire community almost felt unbelievable. by @aezonmusic

This week we’re bringing the Brooklyn underground back home.
