It was an honor and such a special experience getting to choreograph a piece for the Dance Focus in the Academy of Fine Arts! It was a joy working with such incredible students and seeing how much the program has grown since I was once in their shoes.

Each and every one of you is talented, hardworking, and beautiful inside and out. Watching you support one another, lean on each other, and show up for each other throughout this process was so inspiring. Your dedication, passion, and love for dance shine so brightly, and I couldn’t be more proud of all that you accomplished.

Thank you for allowing me to be a small part of your journey. Seeing this piece come to life through all of you was incredibly rewarding, and I can’t wait to see where dance takes each of you next. 🥹💛
