SBA SoCal Built different. Together. 💪⚾️ At SBA, this isn’t just baseball — it’s family. Every rep, every swing, every grind session is about more than today… it’s about building the future of each player who steps on the field. We push each other. We support each other. We grow together. No shortcuts. No excuses. Just work, belief, and a vision bigger than the game. The mission is clear: develop athletes, build leaders, and create opportunities that last a lifetime. 🎥 @nestbaseball #SBAFamily #BuiltNotBorn #FutureFocused #GrindTogether #BaseballLife DevelopThePlayer AthletesFirst by @afbaseball
Some parents, players, and even some coaches will bypass these videos and wont realize their importance to hitting or say its a waste of time. Players train everyday but how often are we training the muscles that move their eyes? How often are we training their broad and fine focus ability? We tell them to focus on the ball, see it out of the pitcher’s hand, and see it all the way to the bat to contact. Many players try their best and believe they are until you record them and show them they aren’t. Drills like these will help them learn to focus and follow the rapidly moving baseball. #hit #hitting #eyetracking #baseball #focus by @afbaseball

🚨 SEPTEMBER 1: A MAJOR DATE IN THE RECRUITING JOURNEY. ⚾️ For high school baseball players pursuing the opportunity to compete at the next level, September 1 can represent an important shift in the NCAA Division I recruiting process. For certain prospective student athletes, this is when Division I baseball coaches can begin initiating recruiting communication under NCAA rules. But here’s the important part: September 1 isn’t when recruiting preparation should begin. It’s when preparation can start paying off. Before that first call, text, email, or message comes, athletes should already be working to: 🎯 Develop their game 📚 Take academics seriously 🎥 Keep quality video and recruiting information updated 📧 Communicate professionally 💪 Build character, discipline, and consistency 🤝 Develop relationships with programs ⚾ Compete every opportunity they get Remember not receiving a call on September 1 does NOT mean your recruiting journey is over. Every athlete develops on a different timeline, and every college program recruits differently. At Athletes First Foundation, we want young athletes and families to understand the process, prepare for opportunities, and make informed decisions about their futures. BE READY. BE RECOGNIZED. BE RECRUITED. Every Athlete. Every Chance. #AthletesFirstFoundation #AFF #September1 #CollegeBaseball BaseballRecruiting NCAARecruiting StudentAthlete HighSchoolBaseball CollegeRecruiting BaseballLife NextLevel RecruitingJourney ScholarshipOpportunity DevelopingLeaders by @afbaseball
The future doesn’t just happen. We build it. Every young athlete deserves more than an opportunity to compete. They deserve people who believe in them, mentors who challenge them, and a community committed to helping them become everything they were created to be. At Athletes First Foundation, we’re investing in the next generation through athletics, mentorship, education, character development, and service. Because the wins that matter most aren’t always on the scoreboard. They’re the young people who become leaders. The athletes who discover their purpose. The kids who realize their circumstances don’t determine their future. “The future is not something we enter. The future is something we create.” And together, we’re creating something bigger than sports. ATHLETES FIRST FOUNDATION Developing Athletes. The recruiting process doesn’t start when a college coach calls. It starts with understanding the process. ⚾️ NCAA Division I Baseball operates under specific recruiting calendars that determine when and how college coaches can communicate with, evaluate, and have contact with prospective student-athletes. Knowing the difference between a: 🔴 Contact Period ⚫ Dead Period 🔴 Evaluation Period ⚫ Quiet Period can help athletes and families become more intentional about recruiting. At Athletes First Foundation, our mission goes beyond developing athletes. We want to educate, empower, and prepare young people for opportunities beyond the game. Parents and players: SAVE THIS POST. Send it to another baseball family navigating the college recruiting process. Your future. Your game. Your move. Recruiting rules and calendars are subject to change. Always verify current information with the NCAA and the college’s compliance department. #AthletesFirstFoundation #CollegeBaseball #BaseballRecruiting #NCAA #D1Baseball CollegeRecruiting StudentAthlete HighSchoolBaseball BaseballParents Recruiting101 CollegeBaseballRecruiting NextLevel BaseballLife by @afbaseball
