🌟 Hello Kids! Welcome back, little lights!

Today’s story is about listening and obeying God—even when it’s hard.

📖 Story Time
God told Noah to build a big ark—even though there was no rain yet! People laughed at him, but Noah chose to obey God anyway. He followed every instruction, and when the rain finally came, Noah, his family, and the animals were safe.

✨ “Noah did everything just as God commanded him.” — Genesis 6:22 NIV

💡 What We Learn
- Obeying God isn’t always easy.
- You may not understand
- Others may laugh
- It might take time

But obedience means doing what God says—no matter what.

"Phil 4:13 ICB - I can do all things through Christ because he gives me strength"

Moufe looked all around her. It seemed as though the entire world had dropped it's work on her - from her home work, to school project, house chores, tidying her room; and oh yes arranging the visitor's room for Grandma's arrival. She promised her Dad that she will help out with this one, she didn't want to miss the fun.

"Whew! It's a lot" she thought "How do I do this?"
She sat down feeling downcast and worried

Ring, ringgg. Her phone rang. It is Moufe
'Hey Fair M" she said "How are you doing, how's preparation for Grand ma's coming?" Her class mates called her 'Fair M' and her best friend Moufe "Dark M' as a way to differentiate their names.
"Feeling overwhelmed, there's a lot to do" she said
"Awwwz", Dark M said "relax you'll be fine. Remember what we are taught in Sunday School - when you feel overwhelmed call on Jesus!"
"Alright, I will. Thanks Dark M"
"You're welcome. Thought to check up on you"
"Thank you, quite thoughtful. Let me get started already"
"Alright bestie. God's Grace"

"Lord Jesus, please give me the strengthen I need to do all I need to do today. In Jesus Christ Name, Amen" Moufe prayed and got to work
.
An hour later, she heard the door bell ring and heard a very familiar voice
"Besstieeeee", she screamed
"Yes girl", you thought I was going to let you do all the work alone? Nope!" Dark M said
"Wow, thank you for this awesome surprise"
"You're welcome" Dark M said

Oh thank You Jesus for also sending Help", Moufe said softly.

Dear Kids, when we are feeling overwhelmed, we can call on Jesus to give us strengthen to do all we need to do, and all He has called us to do each day

Meditate: Phil 4:13 ICB - I can do all things through Christ because he gives me strength.

Prayer: Dear Lord Jesus, I ask for strengthen today to accomplish all You would have me to do. Let your strength be made perfect in my weakness in Jesus Name, Amen.
