The April @treasuretress box was a @cantubeautyuk takeover with their new Ultra Moisture collection. I’ve seen alot of people talk about these products so I was excited to try them. The shampoo and hair mask were good but I don’t think they are “ultra moisturising”. I did not like the brush it felt like it was going to pull my hair out, I don’t think it works well on thick/afro hair.

The leave in conditioner and curl cream were the biggest disappointment for me, they left my hair dry and undefined and I wouldn’t reach for these again.

After 10 days of this sew-in I needed to wash my hair because my scalp was itching😩 and my leave out was looking a hot mess!

I used the @philip_kingsley anti-dandruff shampoo because the nozzle makes it easy to get between my canerows and actually cleanse my scalp properly. I used the @patternbeauty intensive conditioner to hydrate and deep condition my leave out and to prevent any breakage.

I love that the @redken acidic bonding curls line is made specifically for restoring type 3 and 4 hair. It’s helped me with maintaining the health and strength of my hair while using heat in my routine👌🏾
