People often ask, “should I do the Botox or the filler?”

To put things into perspective, I like to ask, “which is more important, diet or exercise?”

I do this to demonstrate how both options are great but the combination of the two is the ideal plan. ✨

In this case, the patient was thoughtfully treated over 3 sessions. Botox was done every 3.5 months and a total of 15 syringes were used. This is a healed result, 4 months later. 🤍

Ck4, or the lower lateral cheek, is one of the most important areas of the cheek in alleviating lower face heaviness and as well tissue repositioning and indirectly preparing other areas for treatment.

This region is where the parotid gland, parotid plexus and masseter live so injection here must be careful and subcutaneous.

Remember, all #MDCodes fanning is a combination of anterograde and retrograde threads which greatly reduces contour abnormalities.

This is what 8 syringes can look like over 3 appointments. Each appointment was meticulously planned and each syringe of filler was placed with very specific intent. Elegantly enhanced while maintaining individual identity.

Something important to note about her results is that there was no lower face filler done. This #snatched outcome is a result of strategic midface and upper face filler in combination with full face and neck Botox. An example of how multi-modal approaches are optimal. Actual #facialbalancing isn’t about treating every area but it’s about identifying opportunity and true discrepancies in facial proportions at rest and while in animation. Not every patient is ready for JW3 right away. ✨

Be y often when wanting to define the jawline, injectors intuitively inject the mandibular body. However proper assessment and planning is needed here. First treat JW1—and JW4 & JW5 to pull back and project forward, this is essential to determine if JW3 is truly needed. Every face responds differently, and treatment should always be guided by anatomy and results, not a one-size-fits-all sequence.

Not all jawlines require the same treatment. Always plan in advance and be sure to understand exactly why you choose the codes you choose!
