I called Rafa Juanes’ manager Dec 26 2024 to be the first artist invited on “The World Meets Los Mírlos”!!!!! 🫶🙏 We tracked 3 songs… De Jueves a Jueves is the one that made the album…

Desde El 2022 comencé a volver a mi país más seguido …
Mi padre falleció y pues mi madre estaba sola me tocaba como hijo estar presente… y vigilar su salud …
Desde ese año mis amistades han crecido que se que tengo un grupito de amigos muy buenos en Perú…
El 2024 comencé a trabajar con Revancha Récords Y me asocié para armar el proyecto “The World Meets Los Mirlos”…
Trabajando con la banda de Cumbia Amazónica de Moyobamba trayendo artistas invitados y oportunidades internacionales de trabajo …
Por una razón ahora estoy aquí …la razón es dar el conocimiento musical y experiencia de negocio a mi comunidad en Perú…
Ayer tuve el honor de ser parte de @kumbieraproject donde @rousdelarous convoco e invito a @killary.oficial @rositaproducciones y @afonico y ser parte de este panel durante FIL en Lima.
@filibro.lima … realmente para mi es muy lindo poder inspirar educar a futuros artistas músicos de que se puede llegar soñando grande siendo profesional y preparado musicalmente… Yo he tenido la chance de salir de Peru a muy temprana edad y he logrado cosas de sueños y todavía tengo sueños que realizar …
Estas charlas o conversaciones sirven para tener un poco más de conocimiento guiar caminos con luz …
Nuestro país tiene mucha arte y muchos sonidos que podemos exportar al resto del mundo…

…Miami-based post-punk project Pandabat returns with its newest single, “Language of Love,” a shimmering yet melancholic exploration of how two people can care deeply for one another while speaking entirely different emotional languages.

Built upon pulsing synthesizers, driving basslines, atmospheric guitars, and a sense of longing that recalls the emotional architecture of New Order, Alphaville, and the songwriting sensibilities of Vince Clarke, “Language of Love” inhabits the space between devotion and misunderstanding. It is a song about the invisible codes we inherit, the examples we witness growing up, and the ways those experiences shape our expectations of intimacy. At its core, the song asks a simple but unsettling question:

What happens when two people love each other, but understand love differently?

For Pandabat founder and songwriter Marthin Chan, the inspiration came from reflecting on the contrasting ways people learn affection, trust, commitment, and vulnerability.

“All humans have a way of interpreting love. I never had to explain the way I love because it was the love that surrounded me. I watched my father adore my mother. I watched my closest friends build lasting partnerships. To me, love was always about two individuals creating something larger than themselves. But not everyone grows up with the same examples. Sometimes people inherit abandonment, betrayal, fear, or uncertainty and carry those experiences into future relationships.”

Rather than assigning blame, “Language of Love” examines the painful reality that emotional disconnection often emerges not from malice, but from incompatibility in communication. The song explores culpability, self-reflection, projection, and the uncomfortable realization that love can exist even when understanding does not.Wrapped in icy synth textures and cinematic production, the track channels the romantic darkness of classic post-punk while remaining deeply contemporary.—a soundtrack for late-night introspection and unanswered questions. I met Maahez aka Mauro Menendez in 2011-2012
He started coming to Afonico at the unicorn regularly…
He would work in producing Moombathon and Afrobeat we connected as friends and as artist and mentor.
I loved my friend we connected spiritually and the hours of conversations about aliens and the occult were up our alley…
I will miss you my friend …

Buenas Prácticas Interculturales viii … Thank You @milenawarthon for inviting me … I attended with my mother I didn’t want to stay at home in bed though my pain and vertigo are strong and present It was a beautiful night of honoring Peruvian culture… Milena rocked the stage with her two dancers and musical director.
It’s the first time I see her live total pop star… With an Andean sound blending it with high energy pop… What a hey night of cultural activism… the night ended with Susana Baca performing whom I had never seen live also… Wow what an amazing live performance from the legendary Peruvian artist.
