THREE MONTHS OF GROWTH, CARE & IMPACT IN ETHIOPIA 🇪🇹

Three months ago, we planted 50 mango and avocado trees at Chamo Secondary School in Arba Minch, Ethiopia, as part of our climate advocacy and tree-planting project.

Today, we're happy to share how things are going.

On April 22, 2026, we celebrated World Earth Day with over 120 students and 20 educators. We talked about climate, health, and the importance of caring for our environment before getting our hands in the soil.

We planted 50 trees, choosing mango and avocado because they suit the terrain, provide future food benefits, and give students the opportunity to watch and care for something that will grow with them.

Three months later, here's our progress:

🌳 50 mango & avocado trees planted
💚 98% of the trees are looking healthy
🌱 2% need a little more care
👩🏽‍🎓 140+ students & educators reached

The trees are growing, putting out new leaves, and standing strong. And honestly, seeing that progress makes us happy.

But this is just the beginning. Tree planting doesn't end when the trees go into the ground. It's about showing up, monitoring their growth, providing care, and learning along the way.

Our six-month review is the next major milestone, and we're looking forward to sharing more updates.

One tree at a time. One community at a time. One greener Africa.
