Having fun isn’t hard when you’ve got an Obama Library Card, okay! While I was at the Chicago Public Library Obama Presidential Branch, I found out you can check out up to 50 book! Yeah…we gonna run it up! by @afroheme

Immersive art in Chicago, INJECT IT!

Meet Ada, a helium filled sphere with charcoal sticks, that floats freely in the air. When engaged by guest, it leaves markings on the white walls, floor and ceiling.

She was a favorite! We could stay in that room all day pushing her around but alas we couldn’t hog the space all day. Stick around for the next exhibit ✌🏾✨

Living a whimsical life in Chicago, 10/10 recommend.

Did I fall in love at first sight? Yes! Will I be back for a 3rd, 4th, 5th time? Also yes! 🙂‍↕️

Let’s explore the @chicagobotanic : The Orchid Show: Feelin’ Groovy.
I missed it last year and was so happy to see the different varieties of orchids up close. I kid you not, I thought there was only one kind 😅. I’ve now made it a goal to collect at least one new variety at their sale next week, wish me luck. by @afroheme

Used my free will to host a dinner, make a tablescape and cook for my family. I’ve been wanting to learn how to make Braised Short Ribs, so this was the perfect excuse to try a new recipe. I might have to do this quarterly, I’m thinking lobster tail or grilled steak next, which should I cook?

On the menu: Braised Short Ribs, Garlic Mash Potatoes, Cornbread with Honey Butter and red wine. by @afroheme
