🚨 Texas’ THC rules have changed. Here’s what you need to know.

As of July 31, 2026, Texas reinstated rules that classify many manufactured THC products—including Delta-8, Delta-10, THCP, and other similar cannabinoids—as Schedule I controlled substances.

But here’s what’s important:
➡️ Not every THC product is illegal. Compliant hemp-derived Delta-9 products (at or below 0.3% by dry weight) remain legal under current law.
➡️ The legal landscape is complicated. Questions remain about enforcement, testing, and how these new rules will be applied in practice.
➡️ The consequences can be severe. APD has stated that possession of Delta-8 could be treated as a state jail felony, while small amounts of marijuana are generally still handled differently under Austin’s local policies.

This is exactly why clear laws matter.
People should not have to guess whether something purchased legally yesterday could expose them to felony charges today.

Swipe through this guide to understand:
• What changed
• What’s still legal
• What enforcement questions remain
• Your rights if you’re stopped by police
• Where to find reliable information

Does anyone else feel like January was both slow and quick? I set intentions for 2026, but my goal in January was to appreciate the time I had to nurture the ideas blossoming in my mind and allow myself to simply be. It’s easy to get caught up in the "new year, new me" mindset, but I believe we move the needle by meeting ourselves where we are and making small adjustments daily.

So here’s to January—a month filled with challenges, surprises, laughter, movement, curiosity, creativity, and lots of love. The tone is set! 🦋 by @afromexico

It’s always so special turning one year wiser - a new year, a new chapter. What’s next is better than what’s behind me, and all that I am to become is already coming. Slowly, easily, peacefully. Here’s to 3️⃣6️⃣

Today I wake up thanking The Most High for the breath that has carried me from day one. I honor lil Ishia… the bold, independent wanderer who knew early that the world belonged to her and that there was nowhere she could not go.

To the first daughter and granddaughter, I honor your resilience, your courage, your guidance, and your unstoppable love. May everything you give return to you multiplied, in all ways and always. 1️⃣2️⃣0️⃣5️⃣♐️ by @afromexico

Got a soft spot, not a weak one. 💕 by @afromexico

What a true privilege and honor it was to host my family last weekend for our reunion.

In today’s world, we’re reminded daily just how precious our loved ones are. The truth is, we never really know how much time we have with anyone, young or old. So every moment matters.

From hugging my grandma and aunties tight, to standing in sections with the lit cousins to watching the baby cousins become cousins. All of it reminded me how blessed we are.
Six generations strong… rooted in faith, flowing in love.

Our family tradition is more than just a gathering. It’s sacred. It’s what holds us together, reminds us who we are, and carries the love and strength that’s been passed down through the years.

In the depths of my heart I feel my great grandmas spirit shining through. Proud and watching over us. 🩵 by @afromexico
