How do you plan a trip to Kazakhstan?🇰🇿

I went to Kazakhstan not knowing what to expect and it ended up being one of my favorite trips.

Turns out a lot of you were curious too.
Some of the DMs I got after posting about Kazakhstan:

This year, @clubmed_quebeccharlevoix
has a Summer Reimagined theme, focusing on outdoor adventure, wellness, creativity, and shared moments.

But before we share what the experience is like (that’s in tomorrow’s reel), here is a little background on the resort:

At this point, we might as well list the airport as our second home. Because the way we've been gallivanting these past few months…😅

Despite flight delays, canceled flights (with last-minute hotel bookings in random destinations), missed connecting flights, jetlag, heatwaves…

Summer has been “summering” in the best possible way!

More to come in our summer travel series. For now, the spot to be is Québec, Canada. We made our way up north for a very exciting adventure!

This has been a summer of endless exploration!

Our adventures recently took us to Albuquerque, New Mexico. While there, we stayed at the iconic #ad @arrivehotels ARRIVE Albuquerque.

It is a boutique hotel along the historic Route 66 (which FYI turns 100 this year).

Our stay was definitely one for the books! A few things we loved about the hotel:

1. Our hotel suite! We loved the combination of retro vibes with modern amenities.

2. The restaurant. The food and cocktails options at DWTNR were fantastic. Oh, and the happy hour deals!

3. The art gallery. How many hotels can say they have an on-site gallery that showcases local artists?

4. The Zia-shaped pool. After spending time learning the history of New Mexico, we recognized the ode to a sacred New Mexico symbol.

5. The overall experience. Our stay at ARRIVE Albuquerque was exactly what we needed. Plus, it was a great base as we explored parts of New Mexico.

Some of the best parts of our New Mexico trip were the hidden gems, and off-the-beaten- path discoveries.

A historical pilgrimage church in the mountains. A bakery in Peñasco that has no business being that good. Native American artisans selling handmade jewelry directly under a 400-year-old portal. A cocktail bar in Santa Fe that earns every photo taken of it.

New Mexico's hidden gems are not all ancient either. There is a modern creative energy here that shows up in the most unexpected places, and the people building it are just as much a part of the story as the centuries-old landmarks.

This state has layers. Come ready to explore them.

Take the scenic route. Trust us on this one.

We drove through desert landscapes and old mining towns, stopped for a green chile cheeseburger at a roadside tavern, and watched the scenery shift completely from high desert into mountain territory before we even realized it was happening.

Adobe churches built in the 1700s. Mountain villages that feel untouched. A tiny café in the middle of nowhere that had no right being that good. Mountains opening up around every turn.
New Mexico just keeps delivering!

New Mexico has been sitting at the top of our list for a while and after this trip, we finally understand the hype.

History that goes back centuries and still shows up everywhere you look. Culture that is living and breathing, not just preserved behind glass. Nature that stops you mid-sentence. Food that has its own category. Art that shaped an entire city.

We covered a lot in four days and we are still processing it.
