🎃 This Halloween, let’s give those forgotten textiles a second thought. 👻

We all have clothes tucked away in drawers, hiding at the back of our wardrobes, or sitting in that one pile we keep meaning to sort out. 👀

But not everything belongs in the bin! Even when textiles are no longer wearable, there may be a better way to deal with them.

♻️ Through @after_anz , your unwearable textiles can take a step towards a more responsible next chapter.

So, before those forgotten textiles become the real ghosts haunting your wardrobe, it’s time to give them some attention!

Most of us have donated a bag of clothes before.

But have you ever wondered what happens after you drop it off?

We took a behind the scenes look at the Australian Red Cross Distribution Centre, where every clothing donation is carefully sorted by hand.

Each item is thoughtfully assessed. If it’s in good, wearable condition, it has the chance to be loved again, helping raise funds to support people and communities, and giving clothing a meaningful second life.

Not everything can be reworn, and that’s okay.

That’s where After comes in. Unwearable textiles are responsibly recycled, helping keep valuable materials out of landfill and moving us closer to a circular future.

One donation can create two positive outcomes:

Wearable items are reused through Australian Red Cross.
Unwearable textiles are recycled with After.

Because every piece of clothing deserves the right next chapter.

The next time you clean out your wardrobe, remember: your unwanted textiles still have value. Whether they’re donated or recycled, they can continue making a difference long after they leave your home.#
