Another ALC review coming your way!!! It Looks Like You in the Dark by @mathildazellerauthor
4.5 ⭐️ and so powerful!

What a beautifully chilling novel. This Indigenous horror novel explores the treatment of the Iñupiat communities and invites readers to reconsider what they think they know about their histories and stories.

As greed from the people in the lower 48 returns to threaten their small Alaskan town, a horrifying, ancient evil is unleashed. Blending Indigenous mysticism, visceral carnage and idea of sisterhood, this book will surely keep your heart racing!

If you want to a haunting story that will stick with you long after the audio has ended, definitely give this a listen. @zorgaq delivers a beautifully chilling performance and hearing the language spoken with her fluency brings the story together and makes it even more powerful.

Thank you @netgalley & @macmillan.audio for this ALC in exchange for my honest review. by @afterdarkaudiophile

I. Am. 💀. This book is 🌶️ AF, beautifully written, and somehow even better than book 1. The love and beauty and heartache is so raw; so powerful. Ky, Asher and Jory continue their story and as many answers as it provides, more questions arise. And that ending? I’m going to be crying until we have book 3!

And I definitely want to comment on the narration. We all know these narrators from book 1 @abigailrenoaudio , @aaronshedlock & @narratedbyteddyhamilton (and everything else they do), and it is so superb when it comes together. They have obvious chemistry and their voices portray so much emotion!

This is a 5+ ⭐️ read/listen. Thank you so much to @brigidkemmerer , @netgalley and @harperaudio for the opportunity to listen to this brilliant story in exchange for my honest opinion. by @afterdarkaudiophile

If you already love Nora Roberts, like I do, this book is going to deliver. Classic Roberts writing with a fun, creative fantasy storyline. If you’re new to Roberts, welcome to you’re gonna love it here!

This Fantasy series takes us from the time of the Salem witch trials to present day where good and evil battle while two that are meant to be together fight to make fate a reality. I loved it and can’t wait for book 2!

Looking for a cozy listen? Hexes Go Well With Tequilla, by @leewriter19 will be available for your ears on 10/13/26!

This is a super cute, witchy read that’s out just in time for Halloween! It’s huge on the power of women and women friendships and breaking powers that are against those values. A slow burn for sure, but that climax (see what I did there?) was worth the wait, IMO. And @psantomasso did such an awesome job narrating!

So grab your book, or kindle, or headset, grab a warm drink and snuggle in for some witchy fun!!!

Thanks @netgalley & Hay House Audiobooks for giving me the chance to listen to this in exchange for my honest opinion. by @afterdarkaudiophile

New book alert!!!

Almost Rotten, book 2 in the Men of Evercrisp Orchard series by @abbymillsaps is out today and I wanted to share my thoughts with you, my favorite book besties.

This book was good. Like really good. I haven’t hated someone in a story this much in a long time. The whole trauma bonding, love and hate, push and pull is crazy, but in a way that is wild to read. I definitely don’t expect some of the plot twists in this book and was riveted the entire time. Now I need the next one because I need to know how this whole mess gets sorted out!!! And audiobook girlies, the narration is HOT 🥵 🔥 So shout out to our narrators @amyhallnarrates @leesamuelsvoice & @itsdevonryder

Visit Abby Millsaps’ website for buy links, or search Almost Rotten by Abby Millsaps on Audible or Amazon.

Don’t forget to add Almost Rotten by Abby Millsaps to your Goodreads TBR!

Happy release day!

I loved this so much. Witty banter, single mom, loser baby daddy, hot bad boy that’s new to town, secret romance. I mean what more do you need?!?? @brighton_walsh was spectacular with this story. I really felt the emotion come through. And don’t get me started on the narration. @jamescassidyromance & @rosediorovo were perfect for these two no nonsense main characters!!!!

The One-Night Secret is NOW LIVE on Kindle Unlimited and in audio! Download it here: https://geni.us/PD6cgF
