Thursday Thrift Haul! ✨🤍🌿

Thursday’s are for thrifting. Okay, let’s be honest. Everyday is a good day to thrift in my book. But, I did score some beauties today!

I have had some questions about what Afterlight is going to look like. The ultimate dream would be to have a secondhand/vintage store of my own someday. But, we all have to start somewhere and so for now I will be sharing my finds at vendor fairs, hosting pop up markets as well as online sale events, which I hope to do monthly.

I have secured a spot at @thelincolnloftandstudio Holiday Market and will keep my page updated as more events come up. I am so excited to get things rolling, and in the meantime you can find me thrifting!

Spooky season is upon us. 👻🎃🖤

I wasn’t going to decorate for Halloween this year, but I am so glad that I did. What is your favorite way to add a little spooky to your space? taken in Watertown, New York by @afterlight315

Hi friends! 👋🏻

I’m, Maureen! The owner of Afterlight and your new thrifting bestie. I am so excited to share my love for all things vintage, thrifting and styling with all of you! I have always had a passion for finding unique and unexpected pieces that tell a story as well as a vision for making spaces feel warm and filled with character while giving thoughtful finds a new chapter. I believe the most meaningful pieces are the ones that have lived a little and it has become my passion to find new ways to allow them to keep shining.

For me this chapter is about beginning again with intention, about continuing to shine by doing what brings me joy, because life is far too short to settle for anything less. I am so grateful that you all are here to share in this journey with me. 🌿🤍✨🦢

Happy Saturday Friends! 👋🏻

I am off to do some antique hunting this morning, but not before sharing this week’s finds with all of you. Comment and let me know which thrifted treasure you would snag. I always have a hard time picking a favorites, but the duck mugs have my heart this time.💕🦆✨

Afterlight is the glow that lingers after something ends-the gentle proof that light was here, and can be here again.
It's the moment after loss, after change, after letting go, when what remains still matters.
Much like us, I believe that objects carry stories. They've been held, chosen, lived with. They've witnessed ordinary mornings and meaningful seasons. Afterlight is my way of honoring those stories by giving them room to begin again.
Each piece is thoughtfully selected for what it still offers. This is a place for second chances, for becoming, for homes that are built slowly and with intention.
Afterlight is for those who believe that starting over doesn't mean starting empty.
It means starting with what still shines.

I am so excited to share this passion with all of you and look forward to seeing where this journey takes me. Here’s to new beginnings. Thanks for following along! 🌿✨🦢 taken in Watertown, New York by @afterlight315
