Anrei's Kekkei Genkai manifests the Threads of the Soul (魂の糸, Kon no Ito). Through direct contact, these threads entwine with the target's soul, allowing her to sever the bond between body and spirit in a single motion. Shi no Fure leaves no physical wound; it cuts life itself, killing almost instantly regardless of physical durability.
Each soul she severs leaves a fragment of death within her, slowly consuming her vitality, making her increasingly ill, and bringing her closer to death. Even flowers and other living beings wither at the touch of her bare hands.

|SUMMARY|🪽

Born beneath an ominous omen, Anrei possessed an innate affinity with death from an early age. As her abilities awakened, her clan came to regard her as the rightful blind lady of their sacred tomb; a guardian entrusted with watching over the dead and preserving the bond between the living and those who had passed on.

Yet reverence soon gave way to fear. Unable to understand the Clan and Anrei, the people of her village branded her as a curse. They repeatedly attempted to take her life, or to sell her to the highest bidders, in order to produce offspring.
Broken by their abuse, Anrei fled into a life of solitude.

With no place left to call home, Anrei eventually crossed paths with the Akatsuki. Their vision of a world free from hatred and the endless cycle of vengeance became the first hope she had known in years.

// Facts //

•In Japanese folklore, hitodama literally means "human soul". It refers to a ghostly fireball or glowing orb that floats through the air at night, traditionally believed to be the visible soul of a human leaving its body either just before death, right after death, or as a wandering spirit. The clan takes its name from its founder, the first bearer of the Shi no Fure.

• The clan is among the oldest in the ninja world. Despite their loyalty to Higanori, they are very respectful of other faiths, provided these do not involve bloodshed or require sacrifices.

• Funerary traditions are among the most sacred customs of Hitodama culture. Their ceremonies are solemn and deeply spiritual, viewing death as a sacred transition rather than something unnatural. Rituals are performed to guide the deceased peacefully into the afterlife, while great importance is placed on their emotional and spiritual state. Ancestors remain an enduring part of the clan, never truly forgotten by the living.

• The "Ama" (priestesses of the Hitodama Clan) are deeply devoted to their Lady, serving as her attendants, protectors, and spiritual companions. Anrei herself was once attended by one of these priestesses, who remained faithfully at her side and served her much like a personal handmaiden.

| SUMMARY |🪽

After distancing herself from her village because of the suffering she had endured, Anrei became a target because of both her betrayal and the power she possessed. Aware of her potential, the Akatsuki sought her out and offered her a place among its ranks.

Konan was the first to approach her. Having learned about Anrei's past, Nagato understood that, had he sent a man instead, she would have never accepted the offer and would have fought to protect herself.

When she was recruited, Anrei was nineteen years old. Not longer after Orochimaru left the organization. Anrei temporarily inherited Orochimaru's vacant position and his ring following his defection (空 -Kū). Anrei's ability quickly became one of her greatest assets. Unlike conventional techniques, Shi no Fure left no visible trace, making it nearly impossible to determine the true cause of her victims' deaths.

At a time when she no longer had a place to call home, the Akatsuki became the only ones who accepted her.

Despite everything I already have going on, I’ve decided to temporarily open commissions to help my mom, who is currently dealing with some bad health issues and going through a difficult period.

☾ At the beginning of Naruto Shippuden, Shiro was sixteen, already carrying more pain than someone her age ever should.
After a terrible incident during the Chūnin Exams, the Third Hokage offered her a place in the ANBU, just as he once had for Kakashi.
For a while, the missions kept her from facing what haunted her.
Then the Third Hokage died,and everything fell apart.

☾ His death was the moment a certain man had been waiting for.
Danzo had already set his sights on Shiro. He saw her potential and lured her in, making her believe he was simply the new leader of the elite squad.
But soon, she began to sense something wrong beneath his words.
By the time she understood the truth, it was already too late.
The curse mark was already upon her tongue.

☾ Shiro had always struggled with the battle between her mind, her body and her soul. Now, she was broken in another way. She could walk in the sunlight like an ordinary person, but deep down, she knew the truth , at any moment, Root could call her back. That organization, which pretended to be nothing more than a stricter version of the Anbu, was the darkest place she had ever known. They turned her into a weapon. A killer. But she kept her suffering to herself. Only Sai, the first to truly understand, would one day hear the full truth. And freedom from the curse mark would only come with Danzo’s death.

☾ Shiro later passed the Chunin Exams and became a Jonin, shocking Naruto when he returned to Konoha; especially since he was still just a Chunin. She was more mature now, but something about her had changed. Her eyes, her movement, she was quieter, almost distant. But despite everything, she was still the kind soul she had always been. Together with Konohamaru, she was the one who kept Naruto’s jacket safe.

☾At twelve, Shiro had already endured hatred, loneliness, and wounds she never let anyone see. She hid her pain behind silence, and still, she became a Genin.

☾ In that occasion, being a talented girl, many classmates asked her for help, despite having excluded her until that moment, both for her ghostly appearance and for her bond with the "black sheep" of the school. Despite everything, being kind-hearted, Shiro offered herself. Naruto wasn't happy with her decision, but she didn't want her soul to rot due to the wickedness of others. she hoped that in this way the others would have love them a little, just a little... but her hopes were in vain.

☾ Once she finished everyone’s homework, they returned to ignoring her, as though she were invisible.
The night before the exam, Shiro could not sleep. She wanted only to be swallowed by those opportunistic gazes that had used her, by the visceral pain clawing through her and tightening around her heart.
Terrified she might never wake again, she gathered what little courage she had left, and went to the Academy.

☾ The day arrived, and after graduation, something unusual happened at the academy, something unique. While Iruka was forming the teams, he noticed a detail. There was a team made up of four people. Why Team 7 in particular? A cold terror crept down his spine, as according to many sayings and superstitions, the number 4 is a sign of bad luck, death, and misfortune.
Leaving many puzzled and frightened, Iruka asked the Hokage why he had done it and, above all, why he had specifically assigned the team to Kakashi. The Hokage didn't answer, but he knew perfectly well the reason behind that choice. There was a meaning, a path that Kakashi, Iruka, and the members of the team would one day understand.

☾ As time passes, being managed by legislation as an orphan, the time has come for Shiro to enroll in the Ninja Academy.
Shiro never had problems with her studies, she was a passionate and kind girl, full of talent, but never proud.

☾ Iruka always said that he had no idea how she and Naruto could be friends, as they were opposite characters and attitudes. Shiro was polite despite not having common education, she was good and not reckless, as if the pain of loneliness had managed to make her more mature and aware.

☾ Shiro had the opportunity many times to help Naruto from bullies, to protect him. She has always been understanding and has always hidden her suffering behind a smile, behind her sweetness, pretending not to feel bad to please others.
There were countless times when her snowy skin was bruised by kicks, slaps or even stones. sometimes they hurt so much that she had to force herself to walk. She didn't gave up, she never did even when the pain was too much

☾ At this age she begins to study a lot and learn the secrets of chakra, but she still doesn't know her own nature and her past

☾ Shiro was born in an ancient home where part of Hamura Otsutsuki's lineage once settled. This dwelling was located in an arcane bamboo forest in the Land of Fire, where the divine Kaguya once fell from the sky.

☾On that fateful April night, shortly after her difficult birth, tragedy struck. Members of the Kaguya clan, aware of the prophecy that the spirit of Shinsei Otsutsuki(Hamura’s bloodthirsty eldest daughter)would be reincarnated in Shiro, descended upon the mansion. The silence of the forest was shattered by the clash of steel and the cries of those who gave their lives to protect the newborn. One by one, Shiro's relatives fell, sacrificing themselves in a desperate attempt to save her.
Her mother, Yunna Otsutsuki, exhausted and on the brink of death, refused to let their sacrifice be in vain. Clutching her swaddled baby tightly, she fled into the bush

☾The commotion reached the ears of elite masked ninja from Konoha, who ventured into the woods to investigate. One of them discovered Yunna,collapsed on the ground, she had fallen, but Shiro never cried, laying silently in her mother’s arms. Yunna,with her last ounce of strength, looked up at the sky ,reflecting reflecting sorrow.There she met a masked face and silver hair. the young Ninja didn't approach immediately, believing she was an enemy, but when he realized that the woman was defenseless, he took a step forward. through the holes in the mask, the byakugan of the woman recognized a sharingan and, smiling, uttered the name of the newborn,while wrapping the necklace with the lotus flower around her neck.

☾ the lotus necklace was a seal that would ensure that Shinsei's power would not get the control of the little girl's body, who manifested her reincarnated presence through her lilac eyes

☾The ninja tried to save the woman, but before he could, she drew her final breath. Shiro was taken to Konoha, where she grew up never knowing who she truly was.

Here I am, after years and many misadventures, starting again. It’s been a long time since I last posted, but looking back at my old works, like this artwork of my OC Shiro Ōtsutsuki and her best friend, Naruto Uzumaki, I felt so nostalgic 🥹✨
I really missed this community, and I thought it was finally time to come back. I hope you’ll be happy to see me again. 💕
My old account was hacked 😭, so I’ll be posting my OCs here from now on. On my main account, @seconds_of_eternity, I’ll be sharing the characters from a story I created, hoping to bring you into their world. 💕

I wanted to thank my dear and kind friend @k0l0rless for the support, after a long time we found each other again🤍❄️
