Came home the other night and no one else was home 🙀😏 so I had to keep myself company 🐒
Shout to @heatherwolf for gifting me her golden milk blend - so scrumptious lush yum 🥰

she had reached her boiling point
so naturally,
you had to just wait
as she taught patience
a divine space
where time doesn’t stop
it lingers in your hands
ready
yet ungripping
presence
and somehow
it’s both desire and acceptance
like passion
a surrender to what is here
it gives us a sense of possibility
it’s boundless
yet also a sort of focus and clarity
a knowing and not knowing
of what’s to come,
like precision
it keeps us going
it brings us closer
to the point
where intention aligns
it keeps us alive
keeps us in love
with the gifts of life
like golden milk
what a gift
it is to be alive
life is a gift
the gift is now
waiting is a trick
patience isn’t waiting
heated predicaments always pass
patience is a becoming
our presence is precise
our presence and becoming is the prize
passion is our beacon

How does love want to express through you?

What do you sweat for?

Celebrating heating up my own biz after a sweaty yoga/dance sesh 🥳 something I never take for granted ..having worked laborious jobs which sustain a kind of sweat that feeds my intensity tendency but also saps at my soul. When the morning allows for this kind of leisure, I can be nothing but grateful.
Calling in the kind of work that I live happily eager to show up for.
I wish this for everyone else too🫶🏼

Sincerity is inevitable, I do value it.
And there’s also a time in all our lives - many times,
That call us to take things a little less seriously
Some things
…there are definitely matters of war and wickedry that I wish those in power would address with much more consciousness, reach into their hearts past the political agendas and patriarchal cynicisms that confuse protection with imposing violence, and be a decent human - nothing tilts the goodness meter upside down like a mighty dash of greed. So if I may wish upon a past pasta delight 🍝
It would be for less harm and more parm 🌬️

This all spurred from a sensing how I have a backlog of almost finished videos that I’d like to start sharing.

To peel out of my shell and spritz some zesty or perhaps cheesey moments 🙈 learning to release the inhibitions that keep me hiding ~ revealing the bits that helped break through tough times. Silliness is sometimes the best medicine to melt the freeze away✨

p.s. this one started from being amused after chancing upon the first little random clip.. I think I edited it to attempt a slowmo Parmesan grind moment for a story a while back - love a spontaneous slowmo vocal … glad it’s brought me some levity after going into creation mode with a productivity guard on👺🤓👹

Reapproaching with more play sometimes saves the day😽

Grateful to have this memory remind me of the generosity in people, and so very grateful to be making friends in this big city who are willing to host me in between house sits 😅

Here I dance
Giving myself permission to be messy
Letting my inner woes and drama move through me 🙈
Amidst decompressing from a delightfully adventurous weekend, i returned to LA to care for this lovely pup you may see here in the far right screen.

With a chance to slow down, I had some physical pains arise that I haven’t felt for a while - the kind that has a story which I attempt to avoid sometimes, but pulls me deeper and deeper until all I can do is surrender, and feel. really feel. and eventually dance the stories through.
They let me know I still hold grief, and that I also don’t need to figure out my emotional world - feeling is healing.

More often than not, I’ve linked my physical pain to unprocessed emotions ~ dancing has proven time and again to be the most efficient way to alchemize the aches. Sometimes it’s also the source of it 😅

Still ~ I’d rather have the pain and the dance than neither. Being present with the discomfort lets me be honest about my life, and expression opens the portal to move whatever’s stuck through. I think that’s available to everyone, in whatever form finds you.

When a layer of life reveals itself

Learning ever more to never take my senses for granted 😏
For loosing them, life becomes confusing, and also more clear 🫧

🌹 the roses were soft but fragrance foregone, morning miso broth was warm but salty so long
🍯 honey fares well ~still the smoothest delight - and yet no sweetness for the tea’s goodnight.

And now
The great return of the of smell and flavor prevails, as I feel the fullness of it all - aromas of feasts, flowers and fouls with each inhale..

A while back I learned a yoga term, pratyahara ~ I didn’t like the sound of ‘withdrawing the senses,’ it’s such an important part of the experience after all.. However, when one part is removed, the richness of food and flower gone, there’s a whole other gratification in sensing around the absence - drawing inward, where the subtle intuitions live a rich life of their own

The story:
Once upon a time, a mysterious lil sick-bug took a quick buzz through my inner landscapes 🙀 but before my senses could determine what was happening ..I asked Claude what was going on 👾 based on having an acute reaction from a beautiful plate of yummy I made - before feasting my senses on it, I had left the dear vulnerable meal on the back patio. It was just too pretty ~ I had to get my phone to photo it 😅
I told this story to Claude and it convinced me my reaction was allergies, or cactus spores, or mold - since I had felt absolutely fine earlier and then stuffed up after watering the 100+ little cactus succulents plants trees ~ i figured maybe i inhaled some spores.

It turns out i caught a bitty bug i think 🤔 was a mild visitor for only couple days but also left me senseless !

However i did rediscover how to taste through texture ~ which is still blowing my mind ☃️

And so the story goes.

Intuitive joy of missing out. Decided to stay in today and put on a fun fit for focus flow time…🤓
Was feeling sad about not going to dance, but driving an hour through L.A. traffic feels a no in my bod + responsibilities call 🧚‍♀️

Yay for cheering myself up😗😘

Haven’t worn this lil bitty fruit onesie thang out yet, shall i? Found it in a 100baht thrift pile at a market in Thailand, miss you Koh Phangan, Portland too ~ and all you friends out there 🫶🏼

Returning and releasing
Again

Following the inner pull, we find our place and home within

Sunrise story:
🌞

Morning after luxury dome I treated myself to finding the perfect viewpoint spot🤩

I share with you these moments that fed my soul in the soft ways that a bit of midnight mischief and daring to drive the edge (literally) for the sake of a new day’s sunrise

In between house sits and so very grateful for friend’s generosity in hosting

And also for my own intuition that says
Hey, why not 🙃 ~ go find that peak spot to watch the sunrise even though it’s far too late and this road is way too narrow and that cliff lands a long way down..
😅

Nevertheless I persisted and found the perfect spot✨

Africa Lookout 🦁

I even had service up there 😋 so I checked the legality of staying over night and it was clearly illegal.

But just down the road there was another pull out spot soo… 😏

Upon pre sunrise I pranced up to the lookout and feasted my eyes into the far distances of Topanga canyon’s thirsty curves, suburban swivels, and twilit wild flowers.

It felt like I gave myself a little gift that felt big in my heart to experience :3

And yet the sun rises and sets everyday
Not a personal thing, but the experience we make of it can be ever meaningful

Birth♥️🌹🌺
Been rather raw and reflective while also trying to be more responsible lately 🪞
Seems like this video speaks to that so I figure I may as well reveal the themes in the ways I know how 😘
Ironically this spontaneous dance vibe stirred last year within a couple days of my birthday ~
and today it is again ! 👼 my day of birth, so I thought I’d share a little something to celebrate making it around again 🌞💫

I feel so much has changed since I had this dance..
this year was filled with plenty growth and deep heartfelt difficulties 🫶🏼
growing may not be sweet honey and tea 🍯
often it’s a bitter and brave endeavor.
but as we persevere, it becomes the liquid gold that we need to really sense into that smooth goodness it is to be alive 🐦‍🔥

Despite many changes of being
Evidently, some things stay the same 😏
Still letting the stories my body holds move me
Still finding ways to release the grip of what “should’s” tell me
Still making efforts towards more responsible ways while also cleaning up unnecessary belief systems
Still feeling it all and letting the dance dissolve me

I share this lil dance to remember, there is always a way through ~ sometimes it looks like focus other times it looks like dancing while cleaning
💃😘✨

Also hey friends and world☺️ it’s been a while - I haven’t been online or making vids much, life’s full of experiences lately🏝️

I’m in Koh Phangan now!
Integrating lots of new info from an excellent and intense psychosomatic based training I’m doing here ~ will make a separate post for that😉
For now.. ah well, I’m super grateful to be learning more tools for resource in navigating this wild world of my being🥰

The death of old dance pants rebirths a blouse
💃🕊️👼💃
This cheered me up the other day :3 I’ve had these fancy pants for quite a while, unworn yet still sparked joy whenever I tried to get rid of them.
Before the waist band had lost its elasticity, I’d wear them dancing 🥰 until one day - the not so uncommon cracktrastrophe occurred ~ and the panty line seem split! 🙀
They found their way into the lovingly tragic little pile of once worn beauties that need repair… 💘 i promised them one day I’d return with the right threads for stitching so we may dance again 💞

Little did I know, that fine split just needed to rip a little more
