Jaleh Negari - Thursday DJ
Drummer, composer and artist Jaleh Negari makes cross-genre music using drums, percussion, synthesizer, samples and field-recordings, alongside graphic paintings and scores, textile weavings and sound installations. She is also a part of Danish experimental noise band Selvhenter and collective Eget Værelse.

vio lino - Friday DJ
vio lino is a project on an ongoing quest to find a magical space through music, curiosity and experimentation. Through electronic music-production, and in this case dj’ing, they try to find a place where sound fragments can co-exist. A field with no rules and genre-specifications…

Saltmother - Saturday DJ
Saltmother plays a mix of experimental folk, rock and esoteric music with a few detours into carefully curated electronic and pop. Her sets are an eclectic blend of present and past hidden gems.

THE MALL
Discover overlooked literature, cassette releases, zines and records from the performing artists and a selection of independent publishers and DIY labels.

Afvikling is a DIY cassette label run by Jonas Torstensen, releasing music by friends alongside his own recordings. All releases are open editions of recycled cassettes, creating an ever-expanding archive of sound and friendship.

Forlaget Escho publishes books from the fringes of literature – works that, in a parallel world, would be considered classics, but have been forgotten in our own small comfort zone.

Sidste Århundrede publishes overlooked writers and translated fiction from outside the established canon, focusing on decay, decline, decadence and hard times.

CPH Zine Fest Distro brings together zines from makers who have attended the festival throughout its 12-year history.

On Saturday I’m playing an afternoon show in Mayhem, along with legends and big inspirations Family Underground and Heksehyl. I am so very excited. We’re playing continuously for one hour with no breaks between the individual concerts from 13 to 14. I would love to see you there. First I prepared these distorted guitar loops, but as ever before, it felt somewhat forced or awkward for me to do louder noisy sounds, so I ditched the plan and started recording something very quiet instead. Guess it’s just gonna be domestic field recordings and repetition of sentences on microcassette.. by @afvikling_kassetter

Tonight from 6 to 8, I am playing Afvikling releases and talking about them for two hours in the legendary radio show Mod Strømmen at Christianshavns radio 98,9fm. It is in danish. I am soon releasing a new tape, I think it maybe qualifies as an album due to the length. It is titled Nothings Gonna Hurt You. The title can maybe be seen as some kind of rather childish, sweet but false promise, an affirmation of sorts. The release is partly inspired by some very beautiful things that happened in May. I got to help organize a concert with two of my Big inspirations Christian and Carrie Mirande, and that whole day made me so inspired that I had to go home and start recording this tape on the same night. Just a few days before I had met Branden of @melomaniadistro, Who offered so kindly to release a tape of my music on his label Philatélie, and his partner Victoria @mallmagick , both of who has also just released Beautiful new recordings in the same batch as me. Apart from that I Think this recording is inspired by connecting with new people, something that often times makes me very nervous and painfully self-aware, but also something I have to remind myself every day is often times very meaningful and good for me. My dear sister @maya_torstensen was able to find time in her busy and very social highschool life to do a painting for the tape an amazing friend @markuslipsoe helped me to do some collages I was envisioning while doing the recording, I am very thankful to both of them. The a-side can be listened to at the Philatélie bandcamp. I’m putting a link in my bio. Me and my friend Lasse, of the amazing label Andres Arbejde, are organizing some small concerts in his workspace in the coming months. First one is on Saturday with amazing musicians @wilhelm1111 and @staib.jacob playing (I believe) Very strange computer music. The dream is to create a cozy and unpretentious space for hanging out and listening to weird music in the afternoon. You’re all warmly invited. The event will be from 16 to 19 and the address is Carl Johans Gade 4, Østerbro by @afvikling_kassetter

I was a little impatient the other day, and just wanted to get the new Afvikling releases out as fast as possible. But now Markus took some pictures of the tapes, and guess what, they’re better than mine because he can see what he’s doing. So felt like posting them here also. Mostly to do justice to the really nice design Markus did for the releases. Tapes available and will keep being available indefinitely. Sorry for spam., Promise to keep quiet from now on by @afvikling_kassetter

On Saturday I’m gonna go on a train, and then another train, and then a bus, and if I manage not to get lost on the way I’m gonna play a concert at @44moen at 16. That is truly very exciting, it feels like a long way from home even though it maybe isn’t. I’ll Play tape loops in last stage of disintegration probably. Maybe there will not be anything left on the tape when I get there. Hopefully there will be just a little bit of sound. Come by if you’re in the area. by @afvikling_kassetter

I’ve made three new cassettes. Two of them is the musical product of my summer holiday, I of course love holidays but too much time to dedicate to over thinking is not always the healthiest for me. Last one is a reissue of a small tour tape from January. Among other things, these recordings are inspired by my (probably slightly unhealthy) daydreams about living as some kind of housewife and having very little to do with society. I think a lot of my music actually is inspired by the desire to protect yourself, which sometimes can become so strong that it end up doing more harm than good. The future scares me a little but I’m trying to tell myself that I’ll figure it all out, and I still have one year left in HF enkeltfag paradise. Anyways, enough Oversharing for now, here’s a bit of text about the tapes. JT - I wish there was Harmony between the inside and the outside c90; diary/ field recordings/ tape loops/ affirmations.
LF - fairy godmother c40; Synthesizer/ tape loops/ wishful thinking/ failed manifestation. JT - Den længselsfulde vej. Second edition c30; sad fairytale music. They are now on the Afvikling bandcamp.
