My entry for @comicsville_festival with the lovely theme “War Games” or in Greek “Παιχνίδια Πολέμου”. Of course I had to draw Ares x Aphrodite, what do you mean? It was either them or Eris messing around but you know me, I never say know to them if I have the chance to draw them. This was so much fun to make (I need help) and I’m so excited for my first ever comic (Professional help) which I will be starting illustrating next month^^ You see Aphrodite in armor here, this is cause I wanted to follow the concept of Aphrodite Areia, basically there was a time in Ancient Greece, where certain groups of people, more accurately in Kythira, Cyprus, Argos, Taras and of course Sparta, worshipped Aphrodite as a war Goddess due to her pairing with Ares. I do find this one of the coolest things about the Goddess of Beauty and yep, HAD TO SHOW THIS A BIT 🤧 A better design for this will be drawn later, lmao, this was a bit quick to make^^ Hope you all liked this one shortie tho! #greekmythology #ares #aphrodite #digitalart #comic taken in Mount Olympus by @agapidraws

Alright, alright, I never posted Eris, omg.. Gosh, I love her so much actually? I remember falling in love with Eris in Sinbad when I was a child and yep, took MAJOR inspiration from there to make my design as well as Jinx too, maybe you can spot it a bit in her eyes? Idk, but yeah, Jinx and Eris from Sinbad were my face models (and ancient pottery Ofc) Anyways, live laugh love Ares’ war bestie and number one wedding crusher✨ #greekmythology #eris #goddessofdiscord #digitalart #procreate taken in Mount Olympus by @agapidraws

Lalala angst ( I made this when that episode of Mighty Nein came out and like… never posted it, again 😅) So, for anyone familiar with them, you can more or less understand the context BUT Imma explain, so: It is kinda established that they already had an affair when the whole deal with Hephaestus demanding Aphrodite’s hand happened, so me being the angst lover that I am, headcanon an interaction like this in the day of the wedding 🤭 #greekmythology #aphrodite #ares #digitalart #myart taken in Mount Olympus by @agapidraws

Achilles x Patroclus everyone 👏🏻 Since MANY have asked, personally, I’m not a fan of them, just not my type of ship? BUT I don’t dislike them either, so it was very enjoyable to draw this one ^^ Hope you enjoy! (My Achilles looks SO much like my Apollo welp) #achilles #patroclus #patrochilles #greekmythology #digitalart by @agapidraws

MENELEN TIMEE cause that new Hollywood fan-film decided to paint these lovebirds in a bad light and well… I gotta support my ship. So! A cute fun fact which actually made me love Menelaus x Helen as a ship is that in certain versions of the myths, Helen was the one to choose Menelaus out of all the suitors. She was given the choice to pick who she wanted to marry by herself, and chose him ❤️ The more famous one is that her stepfather, King Tyndareus chose Menelaus for her. Despite the version of the myth, Helen and Menelaus deeply loved each other, and after the war reconciled and were shown years later celebrating the wedding of their daughter. So yeah, what you saw in that film? WILDLY innacurate. Then again, Troy ruined their relationship too, so yeah, my ship keeps on getting Ls lmao . . . #greekmythology #helen #menelaus #menelen #procreate taken in Sparta, Greece by @agapidraws
