This Summer I revisited the 2 catalogs of my series Habitat & Urban Matter. A series of printed I created soon after I moved to the US in 2014. This series is inspired by architecture and urban landscapes from North American cities. I have continued to evolve the series and added new works over the years.

This little print is featured in @kentlerdrawing 2026 annual benefit. Inspired by my Habitat & Urban Matter series, it’s my first try at doing Mokuhanga Japanese woodblock printing and I think I’m going to pursue more of this technique 😀

It’s a 3 colors print onto washi paper, 10 x 8 inches.

Come to see it in person this weekend.

I will be at the kick off party this Saturday, September 19th, 4 to 6 pm.

Last weekend was fun.

I tried my hand at Mokuhanga printing, an ancestral Japanese woodblock printing. It looks easy but it’s much more complicated and technical that it looks like 😅

I should now explore more of it.
