Eiko Ojala @o_eiko
Solo Exhibition ‘Mind Notes’ @rukigalerii

Eiko Ojala presents his first solo exhibition in Estonia.

Best known for his illustrations for The New Yorker, TIME, The New York Times and National Geographic, Eiko creates images that look as though they have been cut and constructed from paper light and shadow to give them a physical sense of depth.

For Mind Notes, Eiko steps away from commissioned illustration to make something more personal. It’s artworks about exploring how the spaces around us can affect how we feel. Human figures interact with simple geometric spaces. Bending and sinking and pressing into and against their surroundings.

MIND NOTES
Supported by the Cultural Endowment of Estonia
Eiko Ojala / Rüki Gallery
Tartu tn 7c, Viljandi, Estonia
16 August — 26 September 2026
