Steve was a friend through many different stages of my life. Knew him as a super fun guy when I was a kid. Than as a teenager and young adult, I got the privilege of working with him. So many good laughs, early mornings and late nights. He taught me a few different ways to do up a horse. Loved the easy days when we would pull the halters and grab breakfast at the steak queen. Went to Willie Nelson with him. Got to go to the cottage with him. So many family dinners with him. Steve was some great entertainment. Wish I could have gone for lunch with him one last time.

He had such ability to connect with people and horses

He loved Van Morrison!
