A week out of the office 🏬
I’ve always had a very strict rule about not working from home - partly because I believe in the delicate art of work-life balance, and partly because I know myself well enough to know that “just one more email” can very quickly become dinner at my desk.

So, this week in London threw that carefully constructed balance out the window in about a million different ways.

And yet, as exhausted as I am, when I think about everything I somehow managed to squeeze into these seven days, I feel incredibly lucky.

There’s something about travelling for work that makes life feel a little bigger. Meeting new people. Growing. Learning. Reconnecting with old friends and making new ones. Exploring places I’ve never seen and returning to ones that somehow still feel familiar.
And somewhere between the meetings, the late nights, the long walks, the conversations, the chaos and the coffee, I managed to come home feeling… surprisingly grounded.

Maybe balance isn’t always about keeping everything perfectly in place.
Maybe sometimes it’s about letting life throw you slightly off course - and realizing you’re still very much yourself when you land.
❤️

What a way to celebrate three remarkable years of the Strategic Mind Society.

A black-tie evening that brought together the UK-based Lithuanian business community, alongside guests who had travelled from Lithuania—not simply to mark a milestone, but to celebrate the people, ideas and shared ambition that have shaped this community.

Powerful speakers, a brilliant host, beautiful live music and a room full of genuine warmth and connection. The greatest strength of any community is its people, and this evening captured that perfectly.

Just a little phone glimpse from @airisfilmsproduction of the energy, unity and joy that filled the room.

Happy 3rd birthday, Strategic Mind Society!

PROJECT: 1EDW 6BED HMO 🏡

Another project completed - and another reminder that an HMO doesn't have to be boring, plain or all look the same.

I’ve been working with this investor for quite a few years now, and one of my favourite things about our collaboration is that every project is different.

Different colours.
Different styles.
Different ideas.
Different ways of bringing a property to life.

For this 6-bedroom HMO, we wanted to create a space that feels modern, functional and considered, while still having plenty of character. The warm orange kitchen brings personality to the shared space, while the bedrooms are kept lighter, calmer and more restful.

Because at the end of the day, an HMO is still someone's home.

It might be temporary, but for however long someone lives here, this is the place they come back to, cook in, relax in and make part of their everyday life.

That’s why, when we work together, our goal is always to find that balance between function, aesthetics, modern design and, most importantly, a feeling of home.

And from an investment perspective, we believe that creating a well-designed HMO isn't just about how it looks. It's about creating a property that people want to live in.

Another project, another unique vision. 🧡

What do you think of the colour scheme?

This was the first holiday in... honestly, I can't even remember how long... where I wasn't exhausted.

Not running on caffeine.
Not counting down to a nap.
Not desperately needing "just one more day off."

I actually left work feeling... okay. And that feels like a bigger achievement than the holiday itself.

Turns out, all those boring adult habits actually work. 🤷🏼‍♀️

Better boundaries.
More discipline.
Clearer priorities.
A healthier work-life balance.
Smarter time management.
Still a work in progress... but if you knew me a year ago, you'd know this is basically a miracle.
