Getting to welcome home 89 incredible women is something I’ll never forget. What a privilege it has been to play even a small part in something so much bigger than myself and to see the Lord’s faithfulness through it all.

Thank you, Jesus, for the women who have loved me so well and made the last three years so special. I’m beyond grateful for every friendship and every moment that has made Eta Alpha feel like home.

What a joy it is to know Jesus!!!!!

I grew up thinking I knew what it meant to follow Jesus, church every Sunday, youth group, mission trips, camps. On the outside, my faith looked strong, but in reality, my heart was far from Him. I was going through the motions, checking boxes, trying to live a “perfect” life. I chased achievement, approval, and relationships to fill something in me, but nothing ever truly satisfied.

When I got to college, everything changed. Through an intentional friendship with Colleen, I was confronted with the truth of the gospel in a way I had never understood before. I realized I could never earn my way to God, but Jesus had already done everything for me and desired a relationship with me. For the first time, I truly understood His love, that He died for me, not because I was perfect, but because I needed Him. And in the fall of my freshman year, I surrendered my life to Christ.

Since then, He hasn’t just changed parts of my life, He’s changed my heart. What once felt like obligation became love. What once felt empty is now full of purpose. What once was about me is now about Him.
Getting baptized is my outward declaration of the inward transformation He’s done in me, and I’ll never be the same because of His grace.

ANDDDD getting to turn around and baptize Callie has been one of the sweetest gifts. I’ve had the honor of watching the Lord love her, pursue her, and move in her life in such a real and transformational way. Seeing her faith grow and getting to stand beside her in this moment is something I’ll forever be grateful for. Love you sweet girl!! by @agnesdamp._

It has not even been a full semester and I have so much joy being able to walk alongside these girls! I never thought I would be blessed with such a great opportunity. It has been a blessing being able to serve Eta Alpha and have the opportunity to be a light in this type of environment.

Getting to lead and love on each of these women has reminded me daily of God’s faithfulness and grace. Everyday I see His hand at work. This role has stretched me, humbled me, and drawn me closer to Him in ways I never expected.

I’m so grateful for the chance to not only serve, but to share His love and truth in a place that means so much to me. My prayer is that everything I do continues to reflect Him and that each of these girls feels seen, valued, and deeply loved. I truly believe He is moving in Eta Alpha, and I’m honored to be a small part of it. by @agnesdamp._
