There is a unified thread running through my work, whether I am picking up a brush or a needle. It is a
constant search for the balance between vulnerability and resilience—a question that lives within my subject The Mangroves, within our collective humanity, and within me.
Today, through these times of uncertainty, each slow stitch is an act of staying present; a way to remain aligned with what is true. My hands hold the memory of every movement.
I the quiet repetition of knot after knot, I find my focus. These gestures are my anchor and I find myself held together.

Il existe un fil conducteur qui traverse mon travail, que je saisisse un pinceau ou une aiguille. C'est une quête constante d'équilibre entre vulnérabilité et résilience — une interrogation qui habite les mangroves, notre humanité collective, et moi-même.
Aujourd’hui, face à l’incertitude du présent, chaque point lent est un acte de présence ; une manière de rester centrée autour de l’essentiel.

Bones of the Mangroves
🌿This series moves in close to the mangrove’s “bones”—the skeletal architecture of its branches. Here, line, rhythm, and quiet strength become the subject.
A minimal, near-monochrome palette strips away distraction, allowing form, shadow, and geometry to dominate. Into this restrained field, pink embroidery threads are introduced—tracing vulnerability, growth, and memory. They map the delicate balance between the organic and the emotional, between whisper and silence.
The work becomes an invitation: to look closely at what sustains, what anchors, and what silently holds the world together.

🌿Cette série s’approche au plus près des « os » de la mangrove — la structure, l’architecture squelettique de ses branches. Ici, la ligne, le rythme et la force tranquille deviennent le sujet même.
Une palette minimale, presque monochrome, élimine toute distraction pour laisser parler la forme, l’ombre et la géométrie. Dans ce champ de retenue, des fils de broderie roses sont introduits — traçant la vulnérabilité, la croissance et la mémoire. Ils cartographient l’équilibre délicat entre l’organique et l’émotionnel, entre le murmure et le silence.
L’œuvre devient alors une invitation : à regarder de près ce qui soutient, ce qui ancre, et ce qui, silencieusement, maintient la cohésion du monde.

Whispers of Mangroves #4
✨️ My ongoing work revolves around the imagery of mangroves, yet in this series I shift the focus from leaves to branches. This change of perspective allows me to emphasize the structural, almost skeletal essence of the trees. The minimalist, nearly monochrome palette highlights resilience and starkness, while delicate pink embroideries intervene as a contrasting gesture of fragility and tenderness. Through this interplay, I explore the tension between strength and vulnerability, and reflect on our layered relationship with nature.

✨️ Mon travail actuel s’articule toujours autour des mangroves, mais cette série opère un déplacement du regard : des feuilles vers les branches. Ce choix met en lumière l’aspect structurel, presque osseux, de l’arbre. La palette minimaliste et presque monochrome renforce cette impression de force et de dépouillement, tandis que les broderies roses introduisent une fragilité délicate. Par ce contraste, j’explore la tension entre résilience et vulnérabilité, et notre relation intime à la nature.
