What kind of decor are you drawn to for bookish pictures?

Clearly I like the apples and foxes! Ever since the OUABH series I keep my eyes open at TJ Maxx and Home Goods and have been very lucky over the years!

It’s New Book Tuesday! What exciting new releases are you looking forward to reading?

There are a handful I’m looking forward to although some might be series I’m naturally behind in! Looking forward to Delilah S. Dawson’s horror novella Monstera for sure!

When was the last time you impulsively bought multiple additions because you could not decide which one to pick?

For my answer, please see the above (and rare) reel! Lol.

How do you feel about sprayed edges?

Honestly I don’t know how we went so long without them! This is truly one of the coolest things to add to books along with hidden covers! Lol.

If you could go through a magic mirror and enter an unknown world, would you?

Despite my love of fantasy and adventure, I’m not too sure I could make that trip without a few details. Even vague ones but I need to know what I’m getting myself into! This photoshoot was pre-Mirror hence the three books!

What’s a color you don’t normally care for but on books you just love?

Generally I’m not a huge fan of pink but when I see it properly on a book cover I totally gush!! The Wicked Sea is the perfect example!

It’s New Book Tuesday! Truly the best day of the week after the weekend! Lol. What exciting new releases are you looking forward to?

Among the many I’m definitely looking forward to Devoured and seeing how that series concludes! So many good books coming out today!

Do you like covers embossed right on the book or do you prefer dust jackets?

I looove a good naked hardcover with the art or title just embossed onto the cover! It’s always so pretty! Reminds me of my classic tomes that went this route with the leather bound covers.

It’s finally Friday! This week has once again knocked me through the wringer. It was just exhausting. I’m hoping things get better next month work wise when we start to finally slow down.

How was your week so far?

Spooky Season is officially upon us! We can respectably start celebrating the joy of Halloween. Lol! Do you have any spooky reads planned for the month?

Every year I try to read something spooky for October but it never really pans out! I’m in event mode reading again and swamped at work and with my house updates so I’m not reading as much as I’d like.

Life continues to chug along. Work is crazy. Life is crazier. I need a vacation from it all.

How are you doing today?

Happy New Book Tuesday! What exciting new releases are you looking forward to today?

I kind of lost track of how many books I preordered! Whoops. I know some are sequels to series I still need to start or get caught up in, but mostly start. Lol. I know there’s one release that’s all over the place today and that is one of the aforementioned series I’m behind on! Lol.
