Friends & family,

I have an announcement! This summer I am NOT going to Africa! You probably weren’t expecting that!

The past three summers I’ve had the amazing opportunity to go overseas with Africa Freedom Mission. My time in Africa has truly marked me and has changed my life for the better. It has taught me how to have a friendship with Jesus, lead others to Christ, and walk with fellow believers. I am beyond grateful for every trip that I have gone on from the summer of 2022 until now!

I couldn’t have done any of this without the generous financial and prayerful support of my friends, family, and strangers who gave so willingly.

Within the past few months, the Lord has revealed to me that I should spend this summer right here in Georgia, planting roots & building community.
In this, the Lord has been teaching me how to have a giving heart, and the importance of people who give and people who go. There’s so much beauty to be found in sacrificially giving of our time, treasure, & talent!

So why am I sharing this? I have the opportunity to help send some friends to Africa, Guatemala, the Middle East, and even discipleship school in the U.S! I wanted to invite you to send some of my friends overseas to preach the Gospel to the lost! 🩷

I will include their fundraising link in my bio! Thank you for taking the time to read this and most importantly sowing into the ministry I’ve gotten to take part in the last three years. I am so grateful for that!

June 2-week team
The very first team I led will always be near and dear to my heart. So thankful that I had the opportunity to lead and love on the sweetest people, and who have become some of my closet friends.
What an honor it is to be a part of the body. Truly learned so much from my brother and sisters as we led together. Couldn’t have gotten through the month without my friends(in the first slide). Thanks for pushing me and calling me higher into who the Lord has created me to be.
This month I learned that I can do nothing apart from Him. I couldn’t rely on my own strength or wisdom but only on His. I will forever be so grateful for this first month and all that the Lord taught me. 🩷 by @agsmith18

This was just the beginning. Started my trip off in May in Charleston where we had some training before the summer started. We then took flight off to JFK and had a day to explore the city and step into deeper friendship with the people I would soon call family and live with for the next three months. So thankful for the first few days together and the unity that the Lord built between us. So honored that I had the opportunity to lead this past summer with @africafreedommission !!! Truly this organization has become family, and so grateful for what the Lord is doing in and through this ministry.

Peep the last slide: We felt led to go worship with this man who was in the subway, just sitting and filling the halls with worship music on a speaker. Just a glimpse into the man’s obedience and his desire to preach the gospel! Walked away feeling so encouraged and touched. by @agsmith18

I don’t think I’ll ever get over yesterday.

So grateful and honored that I got to be apart of this special day! It’s been such a joy to watch their relationship grow from the beginning.I can’t wait to see how the Lord will use the both of you in marriage and for the rest of y’all’s lives.

a love letter to this summer💌
There is so much to process about this summer. Thanking Jesus I had the opportunity to go back to Africa. Thank you Jesus for taking us deeper in your love. And thank you for giving me kingdom family.
