Still dreaming about last week! 🎬✨ A massive thank you to @choreoscope for having us back! It felt great to be at Cinemes Girona, we are still thinking about what a magical night it was sharing “Parallel Worlds” on the big screen alongside so many brilliant dance films and local artists!

And of course, our Aguascopio team was almost fully present in Barcelona… since Annabelle (@ellebanna_art) couldn’t make it in person, she drew herself right into the picture so we wouldn’t be incomplete! 💜

Huge gratitude to everyone who came out to support us, to @chriszippel_official for the incredible sound design, and to the whole Choreoscope team for putting together such an inspiring festival.

Seguimos soñando con lo de la semana pasada! 🎬✨ Un millón de gracias a @choreoscope por volver a contar con nosotras. ¡Qué gustazo estar en Cinemes Girona! Seguimos dando vueltas a lo mágica que fue esa noche compartiendo “Parallel Worlds” en la gran pantalla junto a tantos cortos de danza increíbles y artistas brutales.

Y, por supuesto, el equipo de Aguascopio estuvo casi al completo en Barcelona… Como Annabelle (@ellebanna_art) no pudo venir en persona, ¡se dibujó en la foto para que no estuviéramos incompletas! 💜🎨

Our art collective @aguascopio is so happy to have been selected again this year for the @choreoscope dance film festival in Barcelona! 🌍✨
After festival stops in San Francisco and Cyprus this year , our short film “Parallel Worlds” is coming to Barcelona next week! We thoroughly enjoyed our time last year when we showed “Be Like Water” there, and this year we are excited to share this new piece as part of the Xerinola screening.
For this film, we had the pleasure of working with Berlin-based musician and producer @chriszippel_official, who made the gorgeous soundtrack for the film. Our film will be screened alongside other Catalan and Spanish short films.

Exciting news! 🇵🇹 Our short film “Ode Sea Us” is heading to Portugal for the Val de Vinos film festival! @valdevinos.teatro.marionetas is a Portuguese theater and arts organization dedicated to preserving and elevating the art of puppetry, masks, and visual storytelling, a festival dedicated to bringing myths, handmade craftsmanship, and theatrical magic to life on screen and stage. 🎭✨
If you are in Sintra next week, don’t miss the chance to watch it! For now, enjoy these behind-the-scenes glimpses from our time filming this piece. 🌊✨
“Ode Sea Us” brings to life the ancient legend of Es Vedrà, sirens, and Odysseus through a unique blend of artistic sea swimming, drone cinematography, mask-making, and spoken word poetry.
Created in collaboration with @theatreoftheancients, featuring poetic spoken word by @a_lex_gray and @cyberniger as Odysseus.

The Balearic Sea is a sanctuary, but its soul, the ancient Posidonia meadows, is under threat. The very clarity that connects us to her beauty is the work of a life-giving system we must protect. Every action matters. Every moment of care matters.
When we look into this water, we look into ourselves. Protect her, celebrate her, and act with love. Because her future is our future. 💙✨

Spirals are nature’s quiet geometry, from distant galaxies to the shells beneath the tide, expanding infinitely outward 🌀

Carving these shapes into the shore is a gentle reminder of our footprint. Every step, every gesture, and every choice ripples into the landscape around us. Humans hold immense power to shape the Earth, but with that comes a responsibility to protect it.

Introducing the next film of enCore 2026…Shadows of Time ⏳

Shadows of Time is a non-narrative art film by Aguascopio, an all-female collective merging artistic swimming, costume design, and drone photography to explore human existence from a macro perspective. Filmed on the Ibiza coast, the performers create patterns both on land and in the sea 🌊

Filmed on sandy beaches, rocky cliffs and other locations such as an ancient lookout tower at sunset and sunrise, their bodies nearly disappear, leaving only their elongated shadows to move like fleeting markers of time. Shadows slip through the cracks of time, and time lingers in the shadows. Spirals and sundial-like shapes are created by the performers in their endless search for living in the present moment.

From above, the swimmers resemble microorganisms drifting in a Petri dish, the circles they create evoking time as an infinite loop—unfolding, dissolving, and reforming. Blurring past and future, presence and absence, Shadows of Time transforms the landscape into a contemplative space where time does not move in a line but in endless cycles 🌀

“Waves upon waves…” Every crashing tide carries a reminder of the delicate balance between humanity and the marine world. Moving along the coastal fringe, our footprints in the sand are fleeting, but our impact on the ocean endures. Through aerial cinematography, we bring awareness to the urgent need for marine stewardship, protecting Mediterranean coastlines, Posidonia meadows, and fragile aquatic habitats. Every conscious choice ripples across the deep.

“Olas tras olas…” Cada marea rompiendo nos recuerda el delicado equilibrio entre la humanidad y el mundo marino. A lo largo de la franja costera, nuestras huellas en la arena son efímeras, pero nuestro impacto en el océano perdura. A través de la cinematografía aérea, buscamos concienciar sobre la urgente necesidad de cuidar el mar: protegiendo el litoral mediterráneo, las praderas de Posidonia y sus frágiles hábitats acuáticos. Cada decisión consciente genera un impulso que resuena en lo más profundo.

Meadows of the Sea 🌊

Beneath the surface of our Mediterranean waters lie vast, ancient meadows of Posidonia oceanica. Often called the lungs of the sea, these underwater forests filter our waters, protect our shorelines, and produce the very air we breathe on this island.

This triptych is a tribute to that silent, living world, a delicate balance captured in three interconnected frames.
