He got a new ball, she’s unimpressed! My 2026 goal is to reignite some excitement of hers for basketball. She goes back and forth - although she was happy to watch a lil LSU with me tonight!! The Easter Bunny came a day early for our family, since it would have been too dangerous to carry this sweet perfect baby with all the other baskets! Plus, she would have been scared getting dropped off in a strange place in the dark 😉

What a privilege and an honor to have had this great man in my life & to have had the opportunity to be so close. I’m forever indebted to the love, grace, wisdom, acceptance, and knowledge that he continuously poured into me. There will never be another Pastor Jackson, ever. I remember the first time he didn’t recognize me, years ago, and today I feel that ache all over again. For years, I ran to him first with my life struggles and joys & he was the best supporter, encourager, and celebrator I’ve ever known. All of us from Union could write endless books about all that he was to us and all that he did for us, collectively and individually, because he was just that great. To write something so short seems like a discount to who he was, yet I also can’t skip posting something when he was such a huge part of my journey, especially as a young adult. There will always be a special place in my heart reserved for him. by @aguinnbaker

Harper and I spent some time together this afternoon on a nature walk - her request. We brought along a book she wanted to tell me about & she read it to me on a break halfway through our adventure. I love the one on one time we share!! 🩷 by @aguinnbaker
