🏀 Can history be made in the WNBA playoffs?

The Las Vegas Aces and New York Liberty are both down 0–2 in their best-of-five series.

No team in WNBA history has ever come back from that deficit to win a best-of-five series.

So now the question is simple:

Can the Aces or Liberty become the first?

One win changes the pressure. Two wins changes the series. Three wins makes history.

Which team has the better chance to pull off the comeback?

⚾ October baseball is here — and this is when everything changes.

The regular season is about consistency. The MLB playoffs are about pressure, pitching and who gets hot at the right time.

One bad inning can change an entire series. One dominant starter can carry a team. And the team with the biggest payroll isn’t guaranteed anything once October starts.

That’s what makes postseason baseball so good.

We’ve spent all year talking about the Dodgers, big payrolls, franchise values and the business of baseball. Now it comes down to what happens between the lines.

Who do you have winning the World Series this year?

🏈 The NFL is down to just two undefeated teams: the Chiefs and the 49ers.

Both are sitting at 4–0, but we all know how hard it is to stay undefeated in the NFL.

Kansas City has already survived some close games, including a 30–27 win over Las Vegas. San Francisco continues to look like one of the league’s most complete teams.

So now the question becomes:

When does the first loss come?

Will the Chiefs finally get caught in one of these close games?
Can anyone slow down the 49ers?
Or could one of these teams stay unbeaten much longer than we expect?

Drop your prediction below:

🏹 What week will the Chiefs lose their first game?
⛏️ What week will the 49ers lose their first game?

And who stays undefeated the longest?

🏈 After four weeks, the NFL is already down to just TWO unbeaten teams.

The Chiefs and 49ers are both 4–0, and they’re starting to separate themselves from the pack.

Kansas City keeps finding ways to win close games, while San Francisco continues to look like one of the most complete teams in football.

Then there’s the other side of the standings: what is going on with the Chargers?

Los Angeles is 0–4 after another loss, this time to Seattle. There’s still plenty of season left, but the margin for error is disappearing quickly.

That’s what makes the NFL so interesting. Four weeks ago, everybody had predictions. Now we’re starting to find out who’s actually good.

Which unbeaten team do you trust more: Kansas City or San Francisco? And can the Chargers still turn their season around?

🏀 The Caitlin Clark effect is real.

When Caitlin Clark plays, people watch. She has helped bring record TV audiences, packed arenas, increased ticket demand and brought new fans into women’s basketball.

That kind of attention is powerful for the WNBA.

But there’s another side to it too.

The same social media attention that helps grow the game can also turn toxic fast. Players get picked apart, fan bases go at each other, and sometimes the conversation becomes less about basketball and more about personal attacks.

That’s the challenge with growth: more attention means more opportunity, but it also means more noise.

The WNBA should absolutely embrace the new viewers and excitement Caitlin Clark brings — while also finding ways to keep the conversation focused on the game and the players.

Do you think the Caitlin Clark effect has been mostly positive for the WNBA?

🏀 European basketball could be heading toward one of its biggest business decisions ever.

EuroLeague club owners are set to meet on October 5 to discuss the NBA’s proposal and what role, if any, EuroLeague would play in the planned NBA Europe project. The NBA is still targeting an October 2027 launch for a new European competition.

The stakes are huge.

EuroLeague can potentially work with the NBA and become part of a larger global basketball structure — or continue building independently and compete directly with NBA Europe.

The NBA’s proposed model has been discussed as a 16-team league, with a mix of permanent franchises and qualification spots, while EuroLeague has its own expansion plans and strong existing club brands across Europe.

This isn’t just about basketball.

It’s about franchise values, media rights, sponsorships, arenas, private capital and who controls the future of European basketball.

October 5 could end up being a very important day in the business of global sports.

Do you think EuroLeague should partner with the NBA — or compete against NBA Europe?

🏟️ Cleveland is about to enter a whole new league of sports business.

With the Browns’ new domed stadium planned for 2029, Cleveland can start seriously competing for major events like:

🏆 Super Bowls
🏀 Final Fours
⚽ International soccer
🎤 Major concerts
🥊 Championship events

That’s the real value of a dome.

It’s not just about keeping fans warm during Browns games — it’s about turning the stadium into a year-round entertainment destination and bringing more tourism, hotel stays, restaurant spending, and major-event traffic into the region.

The bigger question:

If Cleveland lands a Super Bowl because of the new dome, does that help justify the massive cost of the project?

⚾ The MLB playoff picture is basically set, and now the real fun begins.

After 162 games, most of the postseason field is locked in. At this point, the focus shifts to final seeding, home-field advantage and which teams are carrying momentum into October.

The regular season rewards consistency. The playoffs are different. One hot pitching staff, one cold lineup or one big series can change everything.

That’s what makes October baseball so unpredictable.

Which team do you trust the most heading into the postseason—and who is your World Series pick?
