How epic is this view at the Olympic Club, San Francisco? They had the most gracious wedding coordinator who drove us out to this breathtaking view on a golf cart during cocktail hour. This was really only one of the amazing photo locations at the venue, along with arched hallways, winding staircases, cobblestone driveways, and a gorgeous glass ceiling room with the most amazing light. Thinking back to this time last year I was super excited for a busy year of weddings, little did I know our world would be turned upside down! I’ve learned a lot about myself and my relation to the world around me over the last year, and also where I see my role as a friend, mother, wife, wedding photographer, and more. Our girlfriends are way more than just drinking buddies - they’re our counselors, our mentors, our motivational speakers, our sounding boards, our confidants, and our family. You all know this already but we seem to sometimes forget in this world of “every man for themselves” mentality. I so love capturing the love between my couples and their closest loved ones and friends on the wedding day because literally these are the moments you’ll look back on and realize, “wow, we grew up together”.
