Main Ridge Farmhouse: is a modern rural house with a very calm architectural feel @j_kidman with a strong use of symmetry and clean lines. The farmhouse feels grounded with minimal blending into the landscape.

@ahbrickandblock we used light toned recycled clay bricks rough face with a random bond, finished with an oxide schmear to give it a monolithic rough natural textured look. Metal roofing gives a crisp contrast whilst warm wood elements @pattisonbuilt around windows and doors soften the look.

The walled garden with a large full working masonry fireplace 🔥 @ahbrickandblock is a key feature. Enclosed masonry walls creates privacy and shelter from wind. Designed for gathering, relaxing and slow living.

Our Mt Martha project is a reminder that bricklaying is more than building walls—it’s creating spaces that will last for generations.

A great wine cellar isn’t just built to store bottles—it’s built to become part of the story.

Long after the last trades have left, this space will be filled with vintages collected over decades, glasses shared with family and friends, and moments worth remembering.

Knowing the brickwork will be the backdrop to those memories is what makes a project like this special.

Hand-laid in Krause bricks, from the barrel-vaulted ceiling to the herringbone floor, every brick was placed with care to create a cellar that feels timeless. It’s a privilege as a bricklayer to build something that will only get better with age—just like the wine it was designed to hold.

Some projects are more than construction—they’re craftsmanship.

This wine cellar was built one brick at a time, from the barrel-vaulted ceiling to the herringbone floor. Every line, every joint, and every curve was laid by hand with precision and pride.

These are the kinds of projects that remind me why quality always matters.

Looking forward to sharing the finished space.

Vaulted chamber under construction with a barrel vaulted brick ceiling a standout architectural detail.

Masonry @ahbrickandblock using @krausebricks gives a classic wine cellar feel. The narrow proportions and random brick pattern create a dramatic vanishing point for aging stories.

Part cathedral, part crypt, part sanctuary for bottles waiting their moment.

Every curve softens the silence.
Every shadow feels intentional.
An underground kingdom built for ritual, conversation, and time itself. 🍷
