Mami,

While I knew eventually this day would come my heart would have hoped we’d have a lifetime to go. Half of my heart left with you to heaven that morning. Never did I imagine that I would be losing you at 32 years old. You’ve taught me how to live, how to be a mother, a daughter and a wife. But you never prepared me for what life would be like without you. The idea of having to live alone in a world without your love has always been my biggest nightmare. You were the only one in this life to love me completely unconditionally. So how does one live without their greatest love?
Those that knew you knew how amazing it was to be loved by you. You gave the love you deserved and more to everyone who was around you. Your selflessness was unmatched. There will never be enough words to explain how grateful I am for all that you did and sacrificed for me and everyone you loved. I am the mother I am today because I aspire everyday to be like you. Over the top with love for my loved ones. I’m so sorry time didn’t give me the chance to repay you for all you gave me but know that I would have bought you the moon and the stars if I could. If my love for you was enough to save you you’d still be here with us today.

I’m grateful I had such a strong woman to raise me. I’ve known it since I was little and watched how you handled all that life threw at you with such grace and power. These last months you fought so hard for your loved ones. And I’ll forever be indebted to you for that final act of love. Thank you for the final kisses, smiles, eye rolls, laughs and even a happy birthday. I hope you know that I am the woman I am today all because of your strength and undying love for me. I can only pray that you give me the strength to be half the woman you were. I’ll spend the rest of my life aching for you, one more hug, one more snuggle, one more phone call or even just the need to speak to you.
Mami there just aren’t enough words to express my love for you so I’ll just say
“idk why I love you so much”🤍
