"Finding Faces" exhibit at the Black Mountain Center for the Arts showing through November 25.

It is human nature to look for and find faces in the world around us. Scientists call this phenomenon “pareidolia”. For artists, faces are fascinating. They have appeared in artwork for as long as artists have been at work. Finding Faces is a small group show united by the theme of faces: what they mean to us, how they appear sometimes mysteriously, and how central they are to the human experience. BMCA is proud to present interpretations of faces from four artists using different mediums and methods of expression.

I am honored to have been included in this amazing exhibit @blackmountainarts

These are my pieces selected for this exhibit so come to BMCA to see this wonderful show of local art.

Thank you all for your support of local artists! ❤️

Free Your Mind

Mannequin Bust Assemblage Sculpture

Available for purchase at Trackside Studios in the Aura Arts Building in the River Arts District, Asheville, NC.

If this, or any other of my art works interest you, DM me. I would love to talk with you about my work! 😊❤️

Creating Free Your Mind was a journey of blending fantasy with tribal influences and exploring contrasts—dark and light, rough and delicate—to capture a feeling of transformation. This work is about courage: the courage to step into your own truth, to let imagination guide you, and to find strength in vulnerability. It’s an invitation to break free from limitations and discover the boundless potential within.

The Resilience: Art & Community online art auction has begun!!

This is an online auction so you don't even have to get dressed to bid or buy!😊

My work, Cerulean Nymph, is a part of this auction and was created from a flood-destroyed work.

The Art Auction to support BeLoved Asheville is officially open for bids!
Artists impacted by Hurricane Helene have brought together art that was salvaged from the flood, art that was created using salvaged materials, and art that was inspired by Hurricane Helene to auction off in support of BeLoved Asheville.
Click on Trackside Studios link in my bio to access the auction and BID! 😊

Make Art * Cast Spells * Fck The System

Mixed Media Assemblage Sculpture

This work emerged from a place of both defiance and creation; a reminder that art is a form of rebellion, a kind of magic that reshapes the world around us. This piece is an invitation to embrace the power we hold when we combine intention and imagination, when we refuse to accept limits imposed by tradition or expectation.
In sharing this work, my hope is to inspire a sense of courage that every mark, every choice, every act of creation carries the potential to disrupt and transform. Art is not just an object to behold; it is a force that moves us to imagine worlds better than the ones we inherit. This piece is an anthem for that impulse of resistance wrapped in beauty, complexity, and color. It’s an open invitation to make, to believe, and ultimately, to change.

Ascension

Wall-mount vintage mannequin assemblage sculpture.

Ascension speaks to the power of rising; lifting oneself above doubt, negativity, and circumstance. It celebrates the strength found in quiet perseverance and courage that enables women to claim their place beyond limitation. This work seeks to resonate as a visual embrace of that journey—an invitation to recognize the divine qualities that dwell quietly within strength, waiting to soar.
