On est super contentes de vous présenter la prochaine artiste invitée par @limbo.collective.ch le 1er août à @zabriskie_gva : Agathe de Limoges!! @ahgat

Agathe de Limoges (CH) s’intéresse à la notion d’entre-deux, d’espaces d’attente, des zones à détruire comme l’envers du décor de la ville. Imaginer ce qui a bien pu se passer avant et ce qu’il reste. Elle analyse aussi l’idée de célébration et des rituels sociaux. L’organisation du bonheur, les « backstage», voir la poussière derrière le rideau. Ses textes sont fragiles, drôles et grinçants. Elle marche à la recherche d’endroits mal montés, mal scotchés, d’endroits qui s’essayent. Une porte qui donne dans le vide, un geste maladroit, un oiseau avec une aile froissée, un œil crevé. Avec la langue décortiquer les choses et s’apercevoir qu’au fond tout tient en équilibre. Elle intègre à sa pratique la co-curation du Trou, une fosse de garagiste transformée en White cube.

Elle présentera une adaptation de son travail de diplôme « Looping in the Dust », réalisé à la HEAD Genève au mois de Juin 🦋

We’re so excited to introduce you to @limbo.collective.ch ’s next invited artist on the 1st of August at @zabriskie_gva : Agathe de Limoges! @ahgat

Agathe de Limoges (CH) is interested in the notion of the in-between, of waiting spaces, of zones to be destroyed as the behind the scenes of the city. Imagining what may have happened before and what remains. She also analyzes the idea of celebration and social rituals. The organization of happiness, the “backstage”, seeing the dust behind the curtain. Her texts are fragile, funny and wry. She walks in search of places that are badly assembled, badly taped, places that try themselves out. A door that opens into the void, a clumsy gesture, a bird with a crumpled wing, a punctured eye. With her tongue, she dissects things and realizes that, deep down, everything is in balance. Her practice includes the co-curation of Le Trou, a garage pit transformed into a White cube.

She will present an adaptation of her diploma project “Looping in the Dust”, carried out at HEAD Geneva in June. 🦋 taken in Plainpalais Genève by @ahgat
