late cherries and v late night reflections (- -｡ )

i have a lot of things i love to draw or share w ppl, but every now and then i get worried that i’m being too overbearing about things that other people don’t need to know. i’ve asked myself since when i was so enthusiastic about self-expression because it scares me if social media has made me become like this without me noticing…承認欲求 is scary 😔 (it’s a trivial worry i know)

thanks if you actually read this far and do you ever also overthink about what to share and not share? by @ahiiho

another from the flea market 🫖

(i’ve never used that emoji before omg)

also i just wondered where the name “flea market” comes from

sidenotes: today i went to this tomato farm in the countryside (fukushima, north-west japan where my grandpa lives) where you can pick and eat as many cherry tomatoes as you want!!! THEY WERE CRUNCHY maybe i’ll upload some photos later but there’s always a lag 😂 i’m back in tokyo now

blue streak w the us capitol + some wonky phone pics of art in DC bc this is an art acc after all 👀
the art scene is 🧑‍🍳💋and freeeee

- 3rd: CABBAGE ON ASTICK (from the US botanical garden)
- 4th: natural history museum!! so many pretty rocks my sparkly-rock-obsessed childhood memories resurfaced
- 5,6,7: national gallery of art (the interior was huge and so pretty)
- 8,9: national portrait gallery (the obama portrait! and some president’s hands 🤌 forgot whose)
- 10: american art museum…i want to become able to draw cityscapes like these)

DC was much less stanky than new york (although i still love it here 😂)

blue streak! some cherry blossoms in dc that thought it was spring and bloomed in november, happy accidents💓

i realised ive been spreading myself too thin this whole year and its hard to see myself maintaining this lifestyle forever, so from now on my study abroad goal is to do small and ordinary things with certainty first and foremost before trying so hard at big things! まずは当たり前なことをきちんとできる人になりたい :] things like not letting my attention scatter when reading things, eating three meals a day, not putting off replying to people, using little breaks meaningfully and sleeping enough (that’s the toughest 😂) it seems simple but it’s surprisingly hard when i’m over my full capacity. gonna try my best! i might make this into a drawing one day
