Took nearly a year of testing and appointments, I am now officially diagnosed with Psoriatic Arthritis! I have been working on learning my body, and taking care of it. Both for my autoimmune disease, as well as to nourish my mind ❤️

I had the absolute best time yesterday learning more about my heritage at the @nordicmuseum 🇳🇴❤️ my family is from Vik, Norway. I love museums and learning about history in general, so it was only appropriate I learn more about my origin!! Plus it was a fun excuse to wear my @erling jersey hehehe taken in Ballard, Seattle by @ahnikalh

Happy 1 year of getting hired by my clinic, to me :)

I am so proud of myself. I have come sooooo far in a year. I finally can say that I’ve found my calling and purpose in life, which is to help animals.

My 20s have been tough. Lots of learning. This past year I truly discovered myself again. I lost count after I lost 75 pounds since one year ago today. I feel good. I feel confident. I finally can honestly say, I love myself. That has always been a hard thing for me to feel. I’ve learned that things happen for a reason. Hardships in life must happen to really appreciate the good things in life. I used to search for happiness. Now, I’ve let it find me. There is beauty in life and all the little things. To feel deeply is a blessing, though sometimes it doesn’t feel that way lol. This is for the little girl in the last video. You did it. You got this. 2025:
You were definitely a rollercoaster! Lots of lessons learned.

I got my dream job (working with animals!) and I am loving it! I lost over 50 pounds naturally- went to the doctor for years about my weight gain. Tried so hard to lose the weight but couldn’t- no matter how hard I tried. I finally lost the weight when I stopped stressing so much about losing it! Instead I focused on my mental health- once my mental health started getting better, I started eating healthier! Both my old caregiving job and my current one have helped me too by getting me to move around all the time. I honestly didn’t realize I lost all that weight until I started feeling better physically (and could no longer fit in clothes- I am 8 sizes smaller now lol!) moral of the story I learned this year: healthy mind = healthy body ❤️ I am looking forward to seeing where 2026 takes me ✨ thank you to everyone by my side, I am so grateful for my people. 😻 taken in Normandy Park, Washington by @ahnikalh
