My stomach dropped and I wasn’t sure what would happen next.

But here we are, years later and that website was still one of my best achievements.

Because through it all, we got to build something together that elevated that business and helped them through so many chapters.

Rarely are the clients I work with just looking for a website to make money.

They do it because they care about something deeply and are ready to invest because of something way more powerful than that.

So no, I don’t think this is really about websites. It’s about someone’s dreams, someone’s hopes, someone’s pain, someone’s purpose all coming together because they have something they want to share with the world.

And to me there’s really no greater honor than serving them. by @ahwebanddesign

Have you ever assumed someone’s silence, short reply, or bad mood was about you?

I know I have.

When I asked my friend Aleks, “What’s one mantra you’re living by right now?” her answer was simple, but powerful: don’t take anything personally.

It’s such a good reminder that can completely change the way we move through relationships and life, creating much more peace and ease along the way.

Yes, I will turn a celestial event into a website lesson.

Next Wednesday, Metro Detroit will see just a tiny piece of the solar eclipse, with about 3% of the sun covered.

It’s a small shift, but people will still stop and look up.

That’s the power of attention.

Your website doesn’t need to say more, look busier or shout louder. It needs to make the right person pause long enough to think, “Oh. This is exactly what I’ve been looking for.”
